Looks like Magnus Wolff Eikrem (Heerenveen) will be Solskjær's first signing for Cardiff. Eikrem played under him in both Man Utd reserves team and Molde.

Molde players Ørjan Nyland, Vegard Forren (S'oton flop) and Mads Dæhli (ex Man Utd) are also linked with a move to Cardiff because of the Solskjær/Molde link.

Bayern have confirmed Lewandowski will join in the summer on a five year deal.

I don't think it would be wise of Solskjær to bring in too many familiar faces from Molde to Cardiff. 1) Neither of them are good enough to immediately strengthen this Cardiff side imo and 2) it could easily be used against him if they were to perform poorly.

Dæhli is something special however, but would still be a signing for the future and who knows if Solskjær's still at the club by the end of the season. Eikrem is a personal favorite of Solskjær though and was seen in the stands at St. James' Park today so I'm guessing he'll be his first signing. I've also seen Mame Biram Diouf's name pop up since Solskjær took over. Apparently he's been given £25M to spend in the January transfer window by Vincent Tan.

I was never sure that he would be a superstar here, but he looked easily good enough to be a squad player.
