Fuck off, couldn't see anyone that looked like me
Anyway, Can't get over how United offered £28m for Baines AND Fellaini. And they just got Fellaini for £27.5m!
Anichebe to West Brom for £6mill as well apparently , laughing!

Should've had it wrapped up for 23M and put the extra money towards Herrera.

Baines tho, silence is golden. He was never going to leave. Can see him getting a new contract soon, highest paid Everton player.

Apparently Fellaini put in a transfer request as requested by the club to waive a loyalty bonus. Good lad.

The 3 'impostors' who were actually Spanish tax lawyers who worked on Bayern's Martinez deal last year.
Someone's been telling the press porkies.

Can honestly say I'm stunned that we've let Lukaku go out on loan, though a striker did require to leave for a good balance. Hopefully he has another cracking season at Everton.
I think Torres, Ba and Eto'o will be enough given the number of quality support players who can fill the gaps. Just would have liked to seen a quality ball winning mid come in, but can't have it all.

Fantastic
He was glorious in the 2010 World Cup and has been glorious for Real Madrid for the last three years. Arsenal need to surround him with players.

€6m is not a small amount though. United fans here were saying €36m for Herrera is the appropriate amount just because he's "a player that we need" but he's really not worth that much. It's stupid to overpay out of panic as we will be able to have a go at him in the future for a much more understandable price.
Although I'm thrilled to see Fellaini at United, we did overpay for him. Ridiculous set of behaviours from the United management, waiting until the last day to sort out everything, and this Woodward cunt needs to go. Why the fuck was he hired in the first place?
K3V0
€6 million to a club the size of Manchester United shouldn't be a huge issue. We won't be able to go after Herrera for anything less than his release clause if Athletic stick to their guns and reject everything below that. Also his contract runs until 2016 so he can't leave for a long time meaning if we want him we've got to pay up.
As for Fellaini we only overspent because for some moronic reason we didn't pay his release clause, I mean maybe we didn't know about it, maybe that's why we didn't do a deal earlier, but I find that very unlikely. Fellaini is young and he's a proven performer in the Premier League, I honestly don't think I've seen a player like him since Vieira.
He'll be absolutely immense at Arsenal once he avoids getting injured.

I hope we still a bit of business in January but I'm not holding my breath.

How has he redemmed himself by wasting £4m on Fellaini? That Julian bloke could have conducted that transfer better.

I did say a little. I firmly believe he could be justifiably sacked from this farce but if he stays then he needs to address the fans and apologise profusely.

The "impostors" were the lawyers who did the Martinez transfer for Munich. The player and United had been using them as mediators with Athletic.
On Sunday, Martinez thought the deal was dead. Then he got a call saying United were offering 30m + 6m bonuses. Athletic rejected the offer but the player asked his agent to tell United to pay the 6m from the salary already agreed with him. (And presumably to give him the +6m bonuses, if he earned them.)
United gave the deal the go ahead.
The lawyers trotted off to Liga HQ. The player was told we'd be in touch to arrange the medical.
The player sat at home waiting for his medical. The lawyers sat in a bar waiting for United to do the money transfer.
At 11pm United were briefing the press that the lawyers weren't authorised to offer money on their behalf.
Jesus fucking christ I thought I couldn't get more angry.

A few twitter sources are saying that yes, when we realised that we'd have to pay £27m for Fellaini we pulled the plug on the Herrara thing.
