In all fairness they've only really had one player in the box to mark/worry about, Bayern may have a lot of the ball but the way they're playing is quite easy to defend against. Now if they were to get one or two more in the box it may be different, but so far its mainly been Alaba crossing and only Muller in there.

Awful finish from Welbeck too, trying to be far too clever. I think the defender would have cleared it easily even if it had gone over Neuer.

Happy with 0-0 at HT, Welbeck's goal really should have counted, yet his sitter was really bad. JUST SMASH IT.

I don't think Welbeck was trying to be clever, he just had no idea what he was doing. No composure from him, he could've easily picked a corner or knock it past the keeper.

I actually think he got sold a bit of a dummy by Neuer by accident, who comes out and stops forcing him to change what he was going to do.

Even then, it was a problem of execution rather than anything else if he hadn't have sliced it he'd have scored.
