Predictably Ancelotti and Klopp have ruled themselves out, seems LVG is the real deal.

Dunno why people care so much about that tbh.

Just the media making it a story really.

Never really thought there was a chance he'd pick anybody other than Belgium.

I'd rather Blanc over Van Gaal.

Eugh, no thanks.

Really don't think he can cut it.

Id rather have Van Gaal. I think his ability to not take any shit from the big players is something Moyes definitely lacked and he might just give Rooney and a few others a big kick up the arse and make them realise they should not be bigger than the club.

We have two great young wingers in Chamberlain and Sterling. He won't be that much of a miss.

Not sure how much of a winger Januzaj will end up as tbf. Definitely looks more naturally suited to a number 10 role, which is where he's played for all our youth teams.

Yeah, mid-July most likely. United refuse to deny the reports that a deal has been done.

Apparently Kluivert would be brought in as his assistant. Van Gaal already doing something Fergie failed to: bringing Kluivert to United.

See what his dad said about him? Certainly held nothing back.

Yeah, regardless of Giggs' actions, his dad sounds like an attention-seeking, bitter prick.

Yup.

"I can't even say his name, that’s how pissed off I am. I went to see him play with Manchester United v Cardiff, three or four months ago. I went along because he was on the bench, but when he came on the pitch, I left."

Also, you could never have told that Ryan Giggs had a black father from looking at him.

Best to appoint him before the WC certainly. Waiting till after the WC could have been a disaster, transfer wise.

I don't think it matters, he clearly won't start till after the world cup, and I doubt he will be directly involved in transfers anyway.

Just the longer it goes without an appointment being made the increasingly more worried I am that someone will drop a bollock and appoint Giggs.

He will probably sent Woodward on his way with transfer targets before the WC if we get him appointed by next week, so it would be helpful to get him sorted sooner.

Moyes didn't get much time, but that was Moyes, so Van Gaal agreed after the WC might not be as disastrous.

And do remember it took Moyes until February's Dubai trip to really get to know the players..

No, it isn't. He's in control of his movement, he gets the ball and none of the man, his studs are low and he leads with one foot. The player shrugged it off and it was their throw-in.

Agreed, off the ground and lunging with both sets of studs showing, but clearly concerned with winning the ball rather than anything else.

Routine red card.
