It wasn't racial abuse, I think he was whistled when he was subbed but the Napoli fans always to that to players they hate, and they hate loads. He also played dreadfully. Still "Balotelli plays poorly - cries when subbed" doesn't get as many hits as nonsense about rascist abuse.

Seedorf also memtioned he's had a tough week, finding out he's a dad and all.

This is Joseph Minala from Cameroon. According to his passport he's born in 1996.

Slept through virtually the entire derby, only caught the Gervinho offside goal.

He's clearly at least 30, it's not uncommon for footballers from lesser developed nations to lie about their age. Apparently Obafemi Martins peaked at 18 years old when he was playing for Inter and yet was crap by the time he was 25.

Oba Martins had a good year last year in La Liga.

It's never a great match for the neutral fan, the pressure in Rome is unlike anything in Italy and most cities in Europe, the total media saturation, fan involvement etc make it a nightmare for the players, the fact a guy with Klose's experience took a day off to get out the city says it all really.

Yesterday was especially bad, first draw in 6 years and first 0-0 in almost 25. We didn't even have any fights or red cards! Reja wanted a draw and got just that. Personally we more than matched Roma in the first half and really should have pushed on after the break rather than sitting back, gifting them the ball and hoping for the best.

Oh aye, Pogba's just about to sign a new deal which takes his wages up to €4m or so per year till 2018. If Juve do sell it'll be on their terms and I can only see the likes of Real and PSG stumping up the €70m asking price.

Martins wasn't playing first-team football at 18. His peak was between the ages of 20 and 23, which is perfectly natural for a player with a game built upon pace.

And the player in the picture isn't 30, an age discrepancy that large would show up in the x-ray scans clubs do before signing players from nations with unreliable documentation.

They recently extended their shirt sponsorship deal for another year, guess that's their way of making it official...

Just read that Kevin Strootman's gonna miss out on the World Cup due to a knee injury, and could be out for as long as nine months. Shame.

Yeah, nightmare for him, wish him well. Very good player. Fortunately it shouldn't have too much of an effect on Roma's season, all that's really left is to fight off Napoli for 2nd. No danger of slipping out the top three.

Inter have finally confirmed that Javier Zanetti's retiring at the end of the season, seems he'll stay on as a director. It's probably for the best, he's not looked the same player since coming back from injury earlier in the season.

The clubs need to grow a pair and handle the ultras like PSG handled theirs. Serie A is at risk of going the same way as the Argentinean league.

NOB is funny but Balanta's not even the best centre-back in Argentina.

Surprising 4-1 defeat at Catania this afternoon for the mighty Roma means Juventus confirmed as champions.

They still bottle it whenever they come up against a half-decent team in Europe though (even when a final in their own stadium is on offer) so if I was them I'd still class their season as a failure - they need to do it when it matters not against Sassuolo and Livorno. Conte needs to make sure he doesn't get a Mancini-like reputation, cos that's the way it's going at the moment.

This will probably be a one-off imo, they were fucked really late against Gala, and it's only the Europa League after all(?).

Conte needs to avoid a Pep-situtation; complacency. But what Conte does far better than Pep is refresh the squad, he has no problem cutting ties. Players like Padoin and Peluso serve a purpose, players who come and go, are decent backups and who keep hunger in the squad.

I think next season will be far more fruitful for Juve in Europe, the squad will shape more into a 433 if they can land a big summer target like Alexis.

AC Milan players had bananas thrown at them by Atalanta fans on Sunday.

Guinea international Kevin Constant and Netherlands midfielder Nigel De Jong picked up two bananas thrown onto the pitch, while Milan players appeared to sarcastically applaud the home support.

After the incident, fans were warned the game, which Atalanta won 2-1, would be suspended if there was a repeat.

Disgraceful stuff yet again.

Stefan de Vrij to Lazio apparently. Newcastle apparently after Radu.

Aye, there's been a lot of stuff floating around about de Vrij, him and Astori are our main targets for strengthening the center of the defense.

There's been some nonsense about Man Utd and Radu but I've not seen anything about Newcastle, Milan are sniffing around Santon so I suppose it makes sense for you guys to be looking for a fullback. Seeing as Stefan's injured half the time and a card magnet when he's actually playing I'd happily see the back of him for €10m.

In the Chronicle today, based on 'Italian sources' and Sky Italia. So probably nothing.

Can't see Santon going to Milan, seems a bit of a luxury for Milan to be spending big on a not that good fullback right now. Santon always seems to be linked back to Italy and it never seems to be actually serious. If Radu was a replacement, it would be more likely for Debuchy.

Rumours that Sedoorf will be sacked, with Inzaghi to replace him.

Proper bonkers.
