Sad to see Vidic struggling so much, was probably the right time for him to move on but I thought he'd at least have looked good in Italy where his lack of pace wouldn't be so exposed.

Watched the Genoa derby earlier which finished 1-0 to Sampdoria. Free kick by Gabbiadini that went straight in. I thought there was a typo in the team sheet when the Samp goalie was listed as wearing number 2, turns out he really was number 2.

Was a very scrappy derby and the first half especially was very poor quality football.

Sampdoria have started very well and are now in 3rd spot.

Juve v Roma on Sunday!!

Yeah it was almost like a British style derby, plenty of noise, fouls and bookings.

Gonna be interesting, something's got to give, both teams have two tough away games in midweek too. Although Roma with an extra day's rest

I watched Juve vs Roma last season and if I remember correctly, it was 3-0 to Juve with De Rossi getting sent off. Hoping for a good game but Juve are looking really good though. I wasn't sure if getting Allegri, the guy that totally screwed up Milan last season, was a great idea. But he's done pretty well so far, including a 1-0 win away at Milan.

The referee actually changed his mind when first giving a free-kick for a handball from Maicon, with Tevez later giving Juve the lead from the spot. And Totti's just equalised having been brought down by Lichtsteiner. I'd be surprised if we won't get to see a sending off or two in this game.
