Brave call considering he scored only three less goals than your top scorer, playing for a tad worse team

Seems like Suarez to Barca done for 70m £... gonna be tough to stay in top 4, but I trust in BR. Gonna be a fabulous season.

Hope Suarez leaving wont have the same effect as Bale's departure had on Spurs. We need to spend the money wisely. Luckily we have no director of football tying to sign players, so everyone that will come in will be BR's signing. Exciting summer ahead!!

Suarez:

"It is with a heavy heart that I leave Liverpool for a new life and new challenges in Spain. Both me and my family have fallen in love with this club and with the city.
"But most of all I have fallen in love with the incredible fans. You have always supported me and we, as a family, will never forget it, we will always be Liverpool supporters.
"I hope you can all understand why I have made this decision. This club did all they could to get me to stay, but playing and living in Spain, where my wife's family live, is a lifelong dream and ambition. I believe now the timing is right.
"I wish Brendan Rodgers and the team well for the future. The club is in great hands and I'm sure will be successful again next season.
"I am very proud I have played my part in helping to return Liverpool to the elite of the Premier League and in particular back into the Champions League.
"Thank you again for some great moments and memories. You'll Never Walk Alone."

Him leaving doesn't piss me off, it's the fact its Barca. One they should be under their transfer ban, two their cunts about the money, I doubt it's £75m straight, don't they still owe Arsenal money?

Anyway, he's always been a cunt, blah blah.

On a serious note, probably a good move, finally got rid of a lot of trouble. Hope we can replace him though

Pretty much say the same as i just said on twitter, obviously a loss but we knew its been coming for a while now and i don't think we'll end up like Spurs purely because we still have a player who scored plenty of goals in Sturridge, which is something Spurs didn't have when they sold Bale.

1) No they shouldn't
2) This is an FM forum, surely you know how installments work by now

1. Oh right, I forgot bans mean fuck all in football now, same as Citys ffp punishment.

2. Yeah, fuck installments.

So glad he's leaving. Liverpool are one of the greatest clubs, but with him being around their image was damaged.

I miss the days when Barcelona were respectable. Since the Qatari deals they've just gotten morally worse and worse.

1) They appealed so the ban is suspended pending the outcome of the appeal, just like how every other appeal process works. What were City banned from? I honestly forget

2) What difference does it make, you're still getting money, don't act like Liverpool pay all their fees up front (except for Andy Carroll)

Barcelona have always been c*nts though. The whole Uni-cef situation did well with portraying them in a more positive light than how they really operate.

Glad Suarez is gone, hopefully this hinders Liverpool and I don't envision Sturridge being as prolific this time around. Will genuinely be interested through with what Liverpool look to do with finding a replacement. There really isn't many viable options out there at the moment that are genuinely available.

Ever since we've won a trophy and signed two world class players within a year the jokes really have gone downhill. I'm quite disappointed.

The Unicef thing was more about getting fans used to having a shirt sponsor than a genuine act of benevolence.

He is a bitter, biased old fool. It's this sort of shit that gives Liverpool a bad name - delusions of grandeur seems to affect their club more than any other.

It makes me laugh that Liverpool fans are making these jokes despite the fact they spent years getting nowhere near fourth and will more than likely finish outside of the top four next season. I'd also take fourth placed and an FA Cup than second place and fuck all else. There's also a certain irony to you making jokes about us selling our best players on the day you've sold your only world class talent to Barcelona.

Ever since we've won a trophy and signed two world class players within a year the jokes really have gone downhill. I'm quite disappointed.

The times they are a-changing.
