How are United going to afford all of these transfers? They haven't even improved on the shit defence yet.

We're minted, basically.

Debt is basically no longer a factor, the new TV deal, ridiculous commercial deals, new kit deal from next season expected to double the price of the current record. IPO cash etc...

The only real thing against that is the missing revenue stream from Champions League football, which is also why the club is willing to spend big this summer so ensure that doesn't become a repeat performance.

Ashley Cole apparently having a medical at Roma on Monday.

Napoli are supposedly really close to signing Michu from Swansea on loan, while Fiorentina are linked with Fellaini and Alexandre Pato is linked with a move to Inter.

Looks like it'll be a summer of shit transfers for Italian football.

They are apparently interested in buying Fellaini outright, not loaning him.

Salih Uçan to Roma from Fenerbahçe is an interesting one though.

£15m.
Salih Uçan to Roma from Fenerbahçe is an interesting one though.

The list of Turkish players who've been successful abroad is a very short one. And I don't think he was even a first-team regular at Fener.

Cole to Roma confirmed and Liverpool agree a fee with Lille for Origi.

Vidal won't go for less than £60m imo. Juve are not a "selling" club, takes a lot to get a player from them

Juve have signed Kingsley Coman from PSG and are rumoured to be close to completing a deal for Iturbe.

Several Italian clubs (including Juventus) interested in Adrien Rabiot from PSG. His contract runs out next summer and he apparently wants to go to a club where he'll get more playing time.

And Eric Abidal has signed for Olympiakos.

Tom Ince has signed for Hull, its only a 2 year deal for some reason. They're starting to get a decent squad put together now.

Mathieu Debuchy has undertaken an Arsenal medical ahead of a move from Newcastle United worth a minimum of £8 million, Goal can reveal.

The France right-back will be confirmed as the Gunners' first summer signing when the formalities of the transfer are completed in the coming days.

Goal understands that Arsenal will pay an upfront fee of £8m for Debuchy that will be supplemented by appearance-related add-ons.

The 28-year-old defender revealed he was in talks to join Arsenal in the wake of France’s exit from the World Cup last Friday.

The terms of the deal were finalised over the weekend, allowing Debuchy to then complete a medical.

Barring any late hitches, the Frenchman will be confirmed as Bacary Sagna’s successor later this week, with the possibility that it could be timed to coincide with the launch of the new Puma kit deal on Thursday.

I'd choose Arsenal over Liverpool, and i'm a Spurs fan. Surely some of them have to be trolls though?

Some headline going around that Yaya won't return to City and is still pushing for a move away. PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool (yeah, I know) being linked with a possible move.

Highly unlikely but man, a midfield of;

Hazard - Cesc/Oscar - Willian/Oscar
Matic - Yaya

Going back to Sanchez, personally I'd choose Arsenal over Liverpool out of personal preference, however "If he doesn't want to come we don't want him" is so petty Of course you want him, he's a great player

As for McCormack, totally agree with you bmg033 strange price

If we sign him it'll all be absolutely hilarious. The amount of butthurt is going to break Twitter.

Why are Arsenal fans so confident that Sanchez would choose them over a team of about equal status?

McCormack is unbelievable - £11m for a guy who a 28 year old forward who has scored in the double figures 3 times? (whilst playing in the Championship, League 1 and SPL)

Anyway if McCormack can score 35 goals this season, he will have outscored Fulham's other four £10m+ strikers - Steve Marlet, Kostas Mitrouglou, Andy Johnson and Bryan Ruiz.
