I have a Macbook, first thing you'll notice: The trackpad is fuckin' awesome.

Also you scroll up to scroll down. But you can turn that off. Remember to Cmd(The weird symbol) + Q to actually close applications. Get QuickSilver as a "launcher" (it's awesome). And setup MiddleClick (3 finger tap, separate app but I think you can do it some way built-in) to open links in new tabs

The scroll up to go down makes perfect sense on a laptop, but imo it's completely retarded on the controller. It makes 0 sense to me tbh

So the cheapest one with a proper watch 'bracelet' (eg, metal links), is 1099 Euros?

Fuck me.

I know Windows has had it for ages but I'm so excited for the window snapping feature in El Capitan, seems to be better implemented than the Windows version as well (which you'd hope given it took them about 4 years to do it)

I thought I'd bump a year old thread to say: RIP Mac.

The new Macbook Pro was announced yesterday with a gimmicky touch bar replacing the function keys, vastly increasing the prices and stripping all the ports so only USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 is available. My favourite thing about it is you can't charge your iPhone on your Macbook Pro, you can charge a Google Pixel fine though.

Microsoft's Surface Studio however looks amazing.

Brexit has been absolutely marvellous so far hasn't it So glad we got our borders back...

Ive been waiting to see the MacBook announcement as i'm due a new laptop and when i saw the price it put me right off, sod paying £1,749 for a 4 year old processor. Ordered the HP Spectre last night, going to be weird getting used to Windows again.

I'm in a similar boat, I've been holding on for the new Macbook Pro but now it looks like I'll be getting a Windows laptop. I was looking at the XPS 13 which looks amazing, Spectre looked really good as well.

Disappointed about that LG display too, it only works with a new Macbook Pro so you could just buy a 4K one from LG for £500 less and plug it into any computer including USB-C.

Yeah i was choosing between the XPS13 and the Spectre, in the end i just went with what i preferred aesthetically as they were more or less the same in spec (although the Spectre i got has 512GB v 256GB). Also managed to get 10% of the Spectre so ended up being the cheaper option as well.
