@BramNUFC I forget who it was, but someone mentioned a few days ago that you can get large, precut images like this from Sorare

@Sk4rles If you're uploading lots of cutouts in a short space of time, it's better to upload them as a mixpack/teampack instead of all individually. Just make sure that the image filenames are saved as the person's UID when doing so.

The FM23 beta is releasing today – it should be live in the next few hours.

The ones in the comment above open in a gallery view if you click them, I'm not sure why the ones in the opening post don't. I guess in the meantime you can open the images in a new tab if you right-click them.

Additionally, you've left too much empty space above the player's head - try and crop the image to just a few pixels above the head and a few pixels below the chin instead.

@beau_ The top of her head is cut off in the image, and her appearance is pretty much identical to her existing cutout anyway.

@Garona31 This image is too small to be useful for making a cutout. Please try and look for larger sources - ideally where the person's face in the image is large enough for a 250*250px cutout.

Nobody apart from SI know for sure because they always say “it will be ready when it's ready”, but it's for sure possible.

Thursday 20th would make sense because recently they like announcing content/updates on that day of the week, and have released the beta a little bit sooner than 2 weeks before release the past few years.

Just edited my comment after your post, it seems that it's more recent than julkjulk's source (January 2022 with his current team according to transfermarkt, vs from his previous team in I assume summer 2021)

Schweigi's cutout comes from a better-looking source image (in terms of lighting, image fidelity) from I think last season edit: looks like it's more recent than julkjulk's source, from January 2022, and the player's appearance is the same, so might be worth recutting that? Very low priority though.

The small icon logos need to have extra blank space on the left and right - so the correct image dimensions would be 25x18 or 50x36 rather than square like the full-size logos.

@Old Fashioned Not bad, but make sure that you're including part of the collar in the cutout. This tutorial video shows how to move the collar up if it's too far below the chin:

@slippy099 I'm afraid that, for the players/staff who already have 250px cutouts in the megapack, the sources you've used from Münster's website aren't large enough to be improvements, as the faces in the images are too small.

Kicker.de has larger source images for the team though, if you go to a person's profile, open the image in a new tab to get this URL and remove the part in red for the full size that will make for a much better cutout:

@Fin Drew Please don't use an image enlarger. It makes the face look unnatural, and has made the edges of the cutout very fuzzy with noticeable pixellation.

Additionally, Game Ready cutouts should be 250*250px and not 320px, and the cutout should be cropped to a few pixels below the chin instead of having so much of the shirt shown.

@Alan Brito When you're making cutouts, please make sure that 1) You maintain the aspect ratio/proportions of the source image (you stretched it wider horizontally, which looks unnatural and incorrect), and 2) That you don't cut off the top of the head.

They're just different visual styles for the 2D kits that show on club profile pages in-game. Some people prefer different styles. “Standard” kits are attempts at making ones as close to the official style used by SI in the game. SS (Short-sleeve) kits and FC12 kits are (probably) the most popular style of fan-made kits, with the most leagues/teams, and have both been around for a long time. There are some other styles like PR, FMG, Evo or WIFC that some people use too. LS kits are just the SS style with long sleeves instead of short.

I think that's the largest size they uploaded to the website, and they resized the image manually instead.

These are the only other two sources I can find for his current appearance - not sure if @mons would think they'd be improvements; one is front-facing but worse image quality and another is similar the the one already cut.

I'm hoping that set pieces will be improved a lot. They're really buggy and have been for years.

@mons @Footygamer might be able to look into this issue.

I'm not familiar with Leverkusen's players but I'll give it a shot. With more info you could get better advice (e.g. are you losing lots of games, or just not able to score and drawing instead? What areas of the pitch are you conceding goals from/goals being assisted from? Are you conceding lots of goals from counter-attacks?) but I can see a couple of areas that could be improved:
 

• Both flanks have the same Roles and Duties (W-At and FB-Su). Maybe one side could be changed to W-Su and FB-At, or even WB-At or WB-Su to provide different attacking patterns.
• You don't have a holding midfielder. BWM-Su is a player role that runs around a lot trying to win the ball back, and with a CM-At alongside him it leaves your own midfield with lots of gaps for the opposition to exploit. Aránguiz could be changed to CM-D to help with this.
• You don't have a playmaker role. This isn't always necessary, but if you're lacking creativity it could be worth trying. Possible options could be Wirtz changed to AP-Su, or Aránguiz to DLP-D, or Vargas to AP-At depending on which players' attributes are best for the role.
• If you're giving away lots of chances to counter-attacks you might want to reduce the mentality to Positive, or drop your line of engagement to make the team more vertically compact, so the midfield and wingers won't be pressing so high up the pitch and leaving large gaps in behind. By default, Attacking mentality will also increase the Tempo of play, so players will try and progress the ball up the pitch and pass quicker - if you're having trouble unlocking a defence, the slightly reduced Tempo of Positive mentality might help.
• The Pass Into Space instruction: If you're pressing high up the pitch with the higher defensive line and line of engagement as well as Attacking mentality, you're restricting the space in which the opposition will be in, and if the opponent is a team sitting deep, waiting for your players to make a mistake and then hitting you on the counter-attack, then you won't have much space to pass the ball into. Try seeing how your team plays if you remove that instruction.
