@Jrpmaestro This isn't the correct player - where did you get the image from? It's likely that you meant to request a cut for a player with a similar name.

@mons I cleaned up the edges and sharpened it a bit, any good?

@julkjulk This source is from 2000 - a 20 year old source image won't be an improvement.

@77david54 - A good cutout, but your clone stamping was very rough and left noticeable circle patches - in the future, I recommend using a clone stamp brush with soft edges (0% hardness) and a low opacity - between 20-40% often works, depending on the image. Resampling the clone source often to more accurately match what you need to paint over also helps 👍

@mons Fixed the harsh clone stamping as above - also uploaded an alternate cutout from October 2020

@pppfff The face in this source is too small as well, and his appearance is still quite similar.

@pppfff Firstly, this image is far too small to be an improvement on the current cutout. The size of the face in the images you request needs to be much larger than this.

Secondly, you should request images that need to be cut with the “Source” tag, not the “Game Ready” tag which is for completed cutouts.

@RJK10 As you have already been told, read the advice in this thread before making any more cutouts, and remember that cutouts should have the image dimensions 250*250px.

@ibrahim1717 I've rejected your source as it's a compressed/low quality image, and he isn't looking at the camera. I've uploaded a more recent source (June 2020, yours is from 2018 or older) 👍

@mons Was this missed for the megapack release?

It's Club Atlético Central in Sevilla, they aren't in the default FM database.

I can't tell for sure either, but from the website URLs it appears the source of the current cutout is from summer 2018, and the source wearing the Uruguay kit is from summer 2019 (wearing the 2019 Copa America kit). This source from late 2019 or early 2020 is also similar in appearance.

IMO the hair is different enough that, if it's a more recent source than the one the current cut is from, would be an improvement.

To add to what mons said, the face in the source image was already large enough to produce a 250px cutout, so there's no reason to need to upscale it.

It's a photo from his facebook page, posted in January 2020. The quality isn't perfect but I think might be a better source than this one if its background is difficult to cut out.

@derd24 This source is from summer 2018, so won't be an improvement over the more recent cutout from this season.

@FORCEMEAT TM  As of five days ago, Castillo's hair was the same as in the current Chelsea cutout, which is already excellent quality so I don't think it would necessarily be an improvement anyway.

@mons @cunex99  I think zigmmund has put the original source images from the club's website through remove.bg without cropping them first, so they're downscaled and lower resolution.

Here's the link to the team's squad page. The links on the right-hand side ("Детальніше") have larger images on the player's profile page.

@zigmmund Did you use remove.bg to cut the original source images from the club's website? If so, you should crop the image to the area around the face before using remove.bg, as otherwise a large image is automatically resized down to 500*500px (or Height*Width=250,000px). Cropping the image to the area around the face first means that the face in the image cut by remove.bg will be larger.

Here's how to crop images first if you don't know how:

@TiagoSeattle Sometimes when a source is precut, I find putting it on top of a white background and then using remove.bg to re-cut that image removes snow better.

@cunex99 This cutout is quite blurry compared to the source image, which shouldn't be happening - are you cropping the image to the area around the face before using remove.bg?
