If this is the source we spoke about via PM, @Simonmeds, I'm afraid it's nowhere near large enough. I've cropped the face in the source image and attached it - it's only 160x160, so it's much, much too small because when you enlarge it to 250x250 it'll become too blurry. Like I said, it's not the overall size of the source image which matters, but the area of the face...

Hope you manage to find a larger source for this guy because, since he's changed his style so much, it needs replacing.

Enlarged with gigapixel, hopefully this is good enough for a reasonable quality cutout

@ElKennyWilly Remember to rotate the images so that the face is upright, and not at an angle.

If you use Photoshop, go to Edit -> Transform -> Rotate (in Spanish I think it is Edición -> Transformar -> Rotar), and drag around the outside of the image to rotate it, like the below image. You can show the grid using Ctrl ' or View -> Show -> Grid (Vista -> Mostrar -> Cuadrícula)
Or, enter the degrees of rotation in the transform toolbar at the top. In this image, it should be rotated -2.5° anticlockwise (sinistrorso), to make the face upright.

@Pierre Aubameyang Again, remember to look for the best possible sources - not just the first one you find. The club's Facebook pages will often have large images of the player.
Novamente, lembre-se de procurar as melhores fontes possíveis - não apenas a primeira que encontrar. As páginas do Facebook do clube costumam ter grandes imagens do jogador.

@mons About the degree rotation clock-wise, what is the perfect rotation? I put 90 degrees to the right.

Rotate the image a few degrees (it depends on the image for how many degrees, and whether clockwise or anti-clockwise) so that the head is upright instead of at an angle/slanted to one side.

To use this cutout as an example:

Also, your image resolution should be set to 72dpi (pixels per inch) and not 3000dpi

What is degree rotation clock-wise?

If you use the Crop tool in Photoshop, for example, you can rotate/straighten the image clockwise or anticlockwise.

The source image (and the resulting cutout) is quite grainy which doesn't look so good. I reduced the image size a bit which should be less grainy, try from this source

So i wasted my time searching logos trying to help you having the most complete pack as possible because the game arrive at 3th tier officialy for Italy, others team logos and competitions are adjunctions even if officials and included in database. Good to know that my research is useless and who have the pleasure to play from 4th division going down, don't have the right to see his own team with a logo even if UID'S are registered and included in database

If you report the incorrect team names on the SI forums, then they might be corrected for FM21

Pack has been updated to fix a config error (Dynamo Dresden had the wrong UID) as well as adding Uerdingen's third kit, and Türkgücü's white preseason/training kit has been added to the alt folder as an optional third kit.

@callumd14, sorry to keep pointing all this out you. Your cutting technique is perfectly fine, but there are just some things I'd like to point out since you're still starting out, so that you can keep them in mind when making future cuts

Care should be taken to avoid the chicken-neck effect and so all cuts should include a little bit of collar. At the same time, as I've pointed out elsewhere, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual or the collar is lower, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally. This video & this post display a simple technique of how to cut close to the chin and still display a bit of the collar.

And a source like this would benefit from the face being rotated a few degrees clockwise, so that it's upright rather than tilted to one side

Hey guys,

Is it possible to add pictures to the searchable database for players who dont have images??

I'm managing Sheffield FC with a LLM database and have found a few of the players who dont have images for them.

There's a forum for the Cutout Faces megapack where you can contribute requests and missing images, as well as improvements over current ones: https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/1/cut-out-player-faces/requests
Be sure to read the Tutorials and Guides for cutters thread, there are some standards set out to make sure that the images in the megapack are of best possible quality.

Some things thing I should mention is that the megapack standard is a 250*250px image size (see this cutout request for an example), or 180px where the source image is too low quality, and that you should always look for the best possible source image for your cutouts: I found this larger source image from the Rossington Main website, opening the profile image in a new tab and removing "&h=240&w=240&t=square&o=jpg" from the end of the URL to get a larger size version.

From there, you can crop the image to the area around the face, and then use remove.bg to get rid of the background, which will give you a high quality result.
