If the source has a transparent background please still check for snow using a dark layer, most of the time there will still be leftovers like here

@Alieeks May I ask what method you use to remove the background from the source image? 

Most of these have some leftovers around the head, as well as a white outline around the hair (snow) which can easily be cleaned by putting the image through remove.bg

I'd recommend watching this video and when you make a cut just copy the steps that are done there 👍

@Alieeks Didn't spot it at first, but it seems like you used some kind of image enlarger/sharpener for these ones. Please avoid that in all cases, as it gives the face somewhat of an unnatural look.

For the MBMedia site you can get larger versions of their images by changing the 1000x750 part in the url to 10000x7500 like this

The way they show up in-game depends on what skin you use

We don't do requests for players that are not in the game. You can try cutting an image yourself using this tutorial

If you just use them for personal use, the only thing you have to do basically is crop out the face from a source image with an editing tool like photopea.com, and then putting that through remove.bg in order to remove the background.

@Rdzin Please avoid adjusting the saturation too much as it can make the face look somewhat unnatural, in most cases just adding a bit of brightness and/or contrast is enough 👍

@Andreacaruso If you want to add an image to the facepack, please use the browse function here to find the timeline of the player, and then the ‘upload image' button to upload it 👍

@ibrahim1717 Thanks for these, but if you're planning on doing multiple backgrounds at once, please upload them as a pack. It saves some time with uploading and moderating.

If you name the images as the ID of the person, the system will automatically recognise them so you don't even have to type in their names 👍

@moondog777 Thanks for these, but please upload images in the highest allowed resolution when possible. The lower resolutions are really only for if the image is small/low quality 👍

@DimiZag If you want to request a source, please just upload the image in it's original state without cropping it or removing the background 👍

@lemmiwinksrm These are great sources, but if the current cut is only a year or two old and of good quality already, we don't really have the time to cut them again as there are over 5000 requests currently

@AIEK Try to not move the collar up too far as it looks a bit unnatural, having just a few pixels showing is enough 👍

It's easier to use this ‘Browse' function than the ‘Search' one to search for teams/players

If you search for a player's name with that quick search one, it will send you straight to their timeline where you can see if there is already a request or not 👍

@Lebohang Mokoena Thanks, but the saturation adjustments made some of these look a bit unnatural compared to the original in my opinion. Don't know if you use auto-color, but I find that at least on photopea that doesn't give great results most of the time

@Draskulla If you want to request more than 6 images at once, you can also upload packs. There is no limit on how many of those you can upload, and they can contain up to 50 images each 👍

I don't think he deserves to get any requests done as long as he wastes our time with bad sources, he will just keep going like this as long as he can get people to do cuts for him.

Yes there might be some cases where we are more accurate on data than SI, especially contract extensions get missed by them pretty regularly.

You can always report data issues on the official forum here, so the researchers can have a look and correct things for future updates 👍

@Joakim H.W. Please set the start date to the actual date the player joins. Also it's preferred to use transfermarkt.com as a source, it's easier to check and moderate 👍

@guy2003y Thanks, but please add the contract start date to all submissions as well. Also if the end date is unknown, that field should be empty
