@Belajariman, you seem to have found some kind of trove for Serie A sources.

I haven't had time to check them all, but from what I've seen of this pack and the Milan, Udinese and Brescia packs, the sources are all a bit washed out and have an overly green hue. For some reason, the eyes in some sources are also quite unrealistic for some reason, like this one. I'm afraid that, since almost all of the respective current cuts are recent and of a very good quality, a lot of cuts from these packs simply aren't improvements.

If I were you, I'd be a bit more cautious and selective when deciding which of these similar sources to cut Nothing to do with your cutting technique, which is as great as always, but everything to do with the sources you're cutting from.

I go through every single improvement posted. There are some that I do reject, but most are improvements according to our criteria. If there are any you think have been added when they shouldn't have (and vice-versa), by all means let me know and I'll look at them again; I'm far from infallible, especially when I'm looking at dozens or hundreds at a time. I just don't think you'll find too many, because most cutters by now have gotten a grasp of what constitutes an improvement and what doesn't, and focus on the former rather than the latter.

It's just a pity that you spend time cutting something which won't be added to the megapack, but if you're happy with that, who am I to argue

I can see Cizzu's point. The lack of hair details in your new cut, mostly due to the source being pre-cut, means this just isn't an improvement, I'm afraid. These kind of sources are probably best posted in the alternatives thread tbh. Bit of a pity that you're seeing these kind of sources as improvements and cutting them because they're not getting added to the megapack at the end of the day, unfortunately.

And it would be nice if you could engage with the feedback you're given every once in a while too

Let's be honest,all Daniel requests are more alternative than real improvements.We can have most recent and quality cut,but that won't be good enough for him.I really don't know how to say this on English since that not my mother language,closest word I can say is "a stickler",in my language I would say "Traži dlaku u jajetu" or "Hoće hleba preko pogače".

Daniel,maybe you could try to cut by yourself,we're gladly gonna give you tips and feedback or any other help with that.

Do you mean that you think the cutout could be cropped closer to the chin to remove a few pixels from the bottom of the neck?

He was cut in 12.08 from a very good source. There's no real reason to request him. Let's try and focus on genuine improvements please

@Daniel Rowbotham have a read of the tutorials thread - your cutouts aren't bad but you should crop the image close to the chin and move the collar up if needed, there's a guide in the thread on how if you're unsure. The focus of the picture should be the face and not the neck after all

To amplify on what Baja said, the existing megapack cut is already of a good enough quality and is quite recent. In cases like this, there is no need for a new cut to be made, especially when there is hardly any difference between the existing cut and the source provided.

In fact, the last point in the guidelines on how to make requests says: "Ask yourself, is it really an improvement to the existing MP image? If it's the same face and hairstyle with just this season's new kit, it's probably just an alternative." for this very reason. Keep in mind that we have a somewhat limited amount of cutters and if they have to make a new cut for every new source which comes out, we'd have an even bigger request list than we already do. There's a difference between images being cut and being requested. If a source is cut, then of course I'll check whether it's better than the existing megapack. I'd much rather that our cutters spend their time on genuine improvements or missing images rather than sources like this which are very similar to existing MP images.

That said, if somebody nonetheless cuts it, I'll of course give it due consideration when deciding whether to add it to the megapack or not, but imo it's not really a priority when you keep all of the above in mind.

Your cut isn't much better though, so Baja's points still stands. And I'm not sure I like your sense of entitlement. We're not here to service your particular needs, you know.
