@Draskulla, you've already been shown how to provide better sources from transfermarkt. Please do so in the future or your requests will be rejected.

Oh, I apologize, the link was to "originals" but I forgot to do that with the filed image.

Not quite done I'm afraid, no. Have a look at weeniehutjr's post just above yours for a further explanation on what further steps you would need to take to have a better cut. Pay particular attention to (a) the orientation of the face and (b) the distance between the bottom of the chin and the bottom of the cut, and keep them in mind for future cuts.

Every so often (between 2 and 4 weeks) update packs are released containing all the cuts collected. Missing images are all usually added to the megapack automatically, while improvements are checked to ensure they are actually improvements and not just alternative images.

I don't really understand how to do that so i'll just let it be.

The source image is slanting slightly to the left; it's not perfectly vertical.

Rotate it by 3 or 4 % clockwise to get it vertical. Then crop it to choose the face and collar only. Then cut it.

Ok, done.

Also how does this request thing work, like does it go in the game or something?

It's better, but as I said here, "it'd be better if they were rotated before being cropped and cut."

Also, while cuts should have a bit of collar, 2-3 pixels beneath the chin is enough. In cases like this source where the neck is overly long, there's a technique in the guide to cutting thread where you can shorten the neck through Photoshop to have it look natural.

Ther's also a very small amount of snow on the right side of the head and just above the left ear (as can be seen here on the dark background). The cut is also 255x255 not 250x250.

That said, these are all things which are easy to fix, so keep trying .

What do you mean by, "rotated before being cropped and cut"?

When you click reply, there is a bit of text add attachment just above the submit button. Click it and you can upload your cut there.

Alternatively, you can go on imgur.com and upload the cut there

@mons I used some of your tips to help with it, thanks. Tell me what you think!

Could you upload it here in the comments (either as an attachment or by hosting it on an image-hosting page) so we can have a look at it before?

How do I do that?

@mons I've made a better version of this with a different computer that itself has Photoshop. Could you remove my upload so I can upload the new one?

@Draskulla The cut contains some snow around the head, and as @mons said, there is no need to leave such a large space above the hair.

Sorry, I had made that before Mons told me about the snow and the space above the head

Out of curiosity, what program and what technique(s) are you using? Easier to point out any potential improvements you can do now, rather than later on, after all

I'm not a pro so I use Paint 3D

It's not that bad tho

A little bit. It still contains some snow from the original source, and there is no need to leave such a large space above the hair. Once cropped, you should then resize it to fit either of the sizes allowed depending on the existing dimensions.

Here's my version:

What you posted was the lower-resolution version of the source image that I posted, i.e. this:

https://tmssl.akamaized.net/images/portrait/header/206377-1521753781.jpg

from
https://tmssl.akamaized.net/images/portrait/header/206377-1521753781.jpg
When you find a source image on transfermarkt, it may be possible to find a higher-resolution image by changing the text header and replacing it with originals.

https://tmssl.akamaized.net/images/portrait/originals/206377-1521753781.jpg
gives you my source image: https://tmssl.akamaized.net/images/portrait/originals/206377-1521753781.jpg

Ohhhhhh ok thanks.

@Draskulla, the sizes for cutouts are either 250x250 in case of large HQ sources or 180x180 otherwise. Additionally, you should also have 2-3 pixels below the chin and above the hair. I've made both your cuts available again for cutting. Do take the time to read the guidelines for cutters in here.

Is that better?

Do take the time to post the largest sources available @Draskulla. The better the source, the better the eventual cut
