Very much so. Tonny's such a pathetic character, can't help but feel sorry for him.

Aye, an unsuccessful criminal with some sense of human decency to him stuck in a world of horrible cunts.

An Israel thread was closed before and I got the impression you were feeling a bit trigger happy.

If I felt trigger happy there'd be no discussion about it.

Why do you keep talking about closing the thread? If I was considering that I would have closed it already.

Can you not see how posts like this make you come across as biased, provocative and stubborn? There's no reason for you to post images like that unless you want to spark a negative reaction from people.

The problem is that a negative reaction is exactly what he is after, haven't you learned that yet?

I guess then either the rockets Hamas are firing are a whole lot larger than I picture them or the Israeli missile-defence system is a whole lot more advanced than anything that was around a few years ago was.

By chokosc | Permalink | On 17 November 2012 - 21:49 PM
Both sides are suffering but if the Hamas kept quite, none of this would have happened.

I hope you realise that'll only set you up for a nearly endless circular argument where both sides go "we only did X because you did Y!" until they get as far back as 1947, and I suspect both parties would find ways to keep the argument going even further.

I'm getting more and more convinced that El Shaarawy will be the player that inherits the title as the best player in the world when Messi and Ronaldo start declining.

I can't see an end to it, neither side want peace on terms that are even remotely acceptable to the other.

And this is the very reason why even discussing this subject is utterly futile. At best the discussion devolves into arguing over which side is less worse than the other, at worst you end up with a bunch of fanatical supporters of either side insulting and threatening each other.

The type of rockets Hamas are firing are not the ones you shoot down with a missile-defence system.

Why are they bombing each other in the first place?

Because they are wankers.

Started a save with Celtic the other day and after 10 league games I'm 6-3-1 and have beaten both PSG (1-0) and Milan (4-0) in the Champions League just using the default 4-4-2 with no changes of any kind. I'm quite surprised at how well it's been playing, normally you'd be well fucked if you tried to play with an unmodified default tactic.

Turns out I've got ADD.

Interesting.

You've actually got something called male. It's a sexually transmitted condition.

Anyway, enjoy your legal amphetamines.

Get a time-machine, visit Northern England or Scotland in 1979 to 1997. Her economics may have encouraged falling unemployment (after it touched 3,000,000), and falling inflation. GDP may have grown, but it was all at the expense of taking jobs from the industrial areas and making jobs in vastly more profifitable areas in the South and London. There were riots, strikes- and after she destroyed much of the North- she gave us no alternative. There were no jobs.
Social services, such as Healthcare and Education were in tatters. Poor infrastructure, poor quality of care. On that respect, 'New' Labour did very well after 1997. Poverty and inequality rose hugely. She was not the best

I don't really see the issue with the bolded part. Jobs are not a human right, having jobs where you happen to live is even less so.

Finally got my head out of my arse and started watching the Pusher trilogy.

Finished the first film this morning, it was excellent. I could also see why that film significantly increased the demand for Carhartt jackets in Scandinavia after it's release.

Fuck you, Franck. Fuck you.

In all honesty I'm just trying to bait Mr Willy into insulting me or Jaygull into writing some political essay again.

Yeah, now that I've had the dragons return I miss not having Dragonrend. This character I am playing with is an archer though, so not having it isn't the end of the world like it would have been with my old spellsword.

They've released some screenshots from Dragonborn now, genuinely looks like they've added lots of new, cool stuff.

How can a country be religious?

Apparently that was the best explanation an Irish hospital could come up with when a woman died after they refused to abort the dying foetus inside her.

Read and prepare to facepalm.

I doubt the tabloids and pundits that have been criticising him for the last 12 years will have a sudden change of heart over one game, they'll just chalk this off with some rationalisation like "it was only a friendly".

So tell me those better parts of Danish culture, go on. Since the only Danish music I know is this and Aura Dione, about which I have not known she was Danish until I googled "famous Danish bands".

There are no "better parts" to Danish culture.
