Put your Jerusalem Post down and read some proper journalism before you get drafted into killing even more innocent women and children.
Netanyahu has said he will agree to a ceasefire if Hamas will agree to stop firing rockets from Gaza. Hilarious really considering the naval bombardment of Gaza is what triggered this particular standoff.
Also:
Funny how they tell Hamas to disappear when bombing isn't it. Clearly wanting extra damage as well.
Oh and:

Ya, I live in the North but news keep on reporting about where the missiles hit and all that.
Also live about 30 minutes from one of the biggest Air Force bases in Israel so all you hear is the constant sound of fighter jets flying lower than usual.

That is actually right as nobody would know about the genocide your Government is committing on a daily basis. How dare Hamas want to fight back after decades of aggression!
It must be hard to be an Israeli citizen though with your Government and main media lying to you so blatantly. I know a few from both sides who have managed to escape the region and none agree with the way your Government is.
Obtuse
Do you think fighter jets are fair given the fact that Palestine has no army per se?
Nah the North is largely untouched thankfully (until Iran and the Arab League finally gears up)
Telegram Sam
Do you think you could have a debate without trying to provoke people?
This is why people don't take you seriously.

If you read what I said, you would have clearly seen the part where I was asking you to look at it from both points of view. No, we don't bomb them on daily basis. Just read about how many missiles they fired at us in the past month. Yes, that is what started this whole thing. Even when it is quite, they still bomb us.
That twitter thing is ridiculous. Not sure if that is a real IDF account and I doubt it, but if it is, I stand corrected! It is true though, they shouldn't be showing their faces around. We killed one of the Hamas leaders a couple of days ago, blew up his car. Is that bad? He is threatening our country on daily bases.
The major difference is that they are trying to get the innocent killed. We are trying to make it harder for them.

His problem is he sees in black and white (insert joke here about how everything was in black and white when he grew up) if Israel are bad then in KM's head Palestine must be good.

I am fearful, yes. Not because of Palestine but because of Lebanon. I don't think that Palestine can get much further than Tel Aviv. In the Second Lebanon war missiles did actually fall very close to my house. When I was at my cousins' house in 2006 a missile dropped about 500 meters from their house. So far Lebanon are keeping quite so I don't think anything should happen in the north for a while.
Know as in talked to, personally?
Yes.

I honestly didn't think that was provoking. Just worded more forward

Actually I think Palestine is the lesser evil.

It works both ways. You say Israel intervene because of attacks from Hamas, but you could quite easily spin it as Hamas reacting to consistent provocations from Israel.
It's clearly a huge grey area. Neither side can claim innocence, but I guess it boils down to who owes what whom and who's more justified in their actions. I don't know enough about it to back one side or another, but what Israel are doing now is horrific. Saddens me that innocent children are being slaughtered in all of this. It's just a complete mess I only hope that something can be done to reduce the civilian casualties.

Sadly true indicative of the world today

I understand that neither side is innocent. However, are Israel's actions horrific? I would say that there actions now are more justified than their non-offensive methods of curtailing attacks. The difference between Hamas and Israel is that Hamas attacks the public at large on purpose, Israel on the other hand attacks places that are likely to be used against Israel and people who want to harm Israel and its citizens. Hamas knows how to play the system, they stay in areas that are full of innocent people to ensure that if they are struck the news story will come out that Israel has killed X amount of people. Israel's attacks are by no means and are far from the best, they do it on the basis that they are protecting their soldiers etc because a ground offensive would be more likely to attack the threats of Hamas but of course that will put Israeli soldiers at a greater threat.
I'll go back to the original question though, what's the likely outcome of all of this? Nothing. It will reach a height, probably now or in a few days (I don't see it lasting much longer than that) then it will calm down a bit more and it will happen all over again in about a year or two.
Obtuse
What? What utter tosh!
Israel just fire into Gaza and wipe out large groups of civilians knowingly. They are the ones playing the system and hiding behind their backers but the world is waking up to their tactics.

More nonsense, Hamas deliberately put missile batteries near schools and hospitals daring Israel to attack them and risk the backlash when people are killed. They're both as guilty as each other at 'playing the game'.
Telegram Sam
I see your point. To me, seeing innocent people being slaughtered in their homes for no fault of their own is wrong. I'm probably being too much of an optimist here but I'd like to think this isn't the correct course of actions. Surely shelling Palestinian territories will only radicalize Hamas further, and cause more attacks from them? I can understand the thought process from Israel but this course of action doesn't seem right to me. They have far greater resources and have almost wiped Palestine from the map. I can understand your explanation, however. As I've said before I don't know enough to say who's right and who's wrong, but the entire situation troubles me.
Also, on a side note, it's worth noting that whilst the EU is more pro-Palestine, the USA is pro-Israel and thus the news stories differ from each side of the Atlantic. When Israel took out that Hamas leader a few days back it was all over the BBC but was barely mentioned on an American station I watched (CBS, I think).

It's inevitable with KM about, but don't let one idiot run some decent discussion between those who aren't deranged.

Can you not see how posts like this make you come across as biased, provocative and stubborn? There's no reason for you to post images like that unless you want to spark a negative reaction from people.
Franck
The problem is that a negative reaction is exactly what he is after, haven't you learned that yet?
Telegram Sam
Of course I have, but I don't see why one bad member should ruin it for the rest of us. If no one takes him too seriously everyone else can discuss the subject in a mature manner. It's a big news story at the moment and I don't think the thread should be closed because one member is out to cause trouble.

An Israel thread was closed before and I got the impression you were feeling a bit trigger happy.
Franck
If I felt trigger happy there'd be no discussion about it.

Christ, alright. I'll fall back in line.
