Worthy of its own thread? Probably not.

Chelsea play Man City in this season's Community Shield on Sunday, the precursor to the main event of the Premier League kicking off.

City are surely favourites, but it will be interesting to see how both sides line up. Will it be treated as the usual semi-serious semi-friendly?

Personally just hope both sides go for it.

The British teams all went for a 1-1 draw in the second leg, which saw them all progress except for Crusadors.

For Burnley and Aberdeen, though. this meant extra time and the English side showed their stamina to keep going and win 3-1. The goal of the night definitely belonged to the visitors, with young Ferguson scoring an overhead kick to level the tie.

On to the next round of qualifiers!

What's wrong with the current system? Managers get sent to the stands all the time.

This is meant to help with clarification for the crowd etc when the manager has had a talking to from the ref. Or so they say.

You guys need to use in-game editor and delete double kits in "kits and colours" section. All that have a cup competition assigned to them.

The game simply reads from editor data, and there's another kit assigned to cups. It's a same problem for all top clubs

Wouldn't know where to start with that!

A bit of an echo chamber in here but I'm sure it will pick up some when bigger teams join!

Just watched the second leg of the Celtic game. Bit of a wet flannel really. Rosenborg had most of the possession and the attacks but about as sharp up front as custard. The odd times Celtic got the ball they looked more dangerous. 0-0 and Celtic progress on aggregate to face AEK in the next round.

Yes, in your preferences.

So in game go to Preferences -> Interface and on the right is Landing Page option under Player Screen. Use the drop down to select attributes and then save your changes.

So the EFL have decided this season will see the trail of managers being able to recieve yellow and red cards, rather than just being sent to the stands.

Yellows will be shown for bottle kicking, undermining the ref and sarcasm! Every fourth yellow card a manager recieves over the season will see them gain an extended ban and possibly fine.

Reds will be for violent conduct, spitting and interfering with play.

For those who still listen to radio, BBC radio 5 Live are doing a 2 hour EFL preview show tonight at 7:30pm. I imagine it will mainly be Championship based like these things usually are, but it will help fill the small gap remaining between World Cup ending and season starting on Friday!

I'm not sure Spurs will finish in the top 4 this season. They seem to have really missed an opportunity to push on by not bringing anyone in (so far) this transfer window. Liverpool have, however, so should do well this season but City still seem too strong to overcome over a season. As for United, Chelsea and Arsenal I really can't tell who will outdo the other.

At the other end, Cardiff have to be favourite to go straight back down. Fulham and Wolves may have come up with them but already look like decent Prem sides from their signings! Crystal Palace are down there I think, even if they hold on to Zaha. Assuming Benteke is as poor as last season too. That third relegation is another tricky one. Could Burnley have bitten off more than they can chew with Europa League games? Another club that has failed to sign anyone also. Brighton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth are teams that imo will always be close to the drop. Southampton shouldn't be but I don't rate or like Mark Hughes so it wouldn't surprise me.

If I had to, I'd go like this :

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. United
4. Arsenal
5. Spurs
6. Chelsea

18. Brighton
19. Huddersfield
20. Cardiff

mate, no one can forbid him to make kits please remember that making all graphics is free and not forcible. most of kit-makers (along with face-, logo-, skin-, update- and others) are adult people with their jobs, families, problems and personal things. So often there're issues, when you can't finish your work as fast, as you thought.

Which is why I think a time limit should be imposed. Or rather, call it a "holding period". There is no pressure, but if it doesn't get done in 2 months (for example) then someone else should be able to have a go at doing that league if they want.

Just had a weird one in my Liverpool save. Emre Can won POTM even though I sacrificed him after 13 minutes to due Robertson's red card. To be fair, he did score the only goal of the game that wasn't an own goal but he didn't even finish the first 15 minutes!

Courtois deal seems to be off. With one year left on his deal Real could get him for free next season.

What do we think about the new transfer window date for English clubs? Seems a bit of a farce to me.
