Anita got voted signing of the season by our fans, so happy with that even if I do think we overpaid! In fact, we probably overpaid on all our transfers in, but so did the buyers for our outgoings!

I managed to scrape through to the semi finals of the cup, literally, before being found out by Barca where Zaza couldn't repeat his heroics of the league. Still, very happy!

We went on a good unbeaten run from the end of February, but still too many silly losses and draws for me.

1 - Man City - Money talks
2 - Man United - Think it'll click for them more this season
3 - Arsenal - I like what I've seen of them in preseason and think this is realistic with or without Sanchez.
4 - Liverpool - Even if they get Van Dijk, it'll be like Holloways Blackpool. We'll concede, but we're gonna try outscore you. Will be fun to watch.
5 - Tottenham - No depth, no home, no go. Team mentality will still get them here though.
6 - Chelsea - Can see Conte leaving. Morata over rated. Just disaster for them this season.

18 - Huddersfield - Again going to relate to Holloways Blackpool. They'll take some teams by surprise, but not enough to stay up. Their fans should enjoy every game and see this as a shot to nothing this season. Take their money and use it to come back stronger.
19 - Newcastle - Benitez to leave, shit to hit fan.
20 - Brighton - It can't be denied that Brighton are a club on the up and developing the whole club in the right way. However, it's too soon for them in the Premiership.

Bottom 3 is really difficult. Only last week I would have probably put Watford down there, and Swansea are going to struggle too I think we all agree. Should be a good season!

Well, we played two left backs, 3 wingers and a striker in midfield but by all accounts didn't do too badly. Still lost 2-1 but if our manager manages to put out a proper fucking team this season we may win a game. Not in the cup, now, though!

Yeah something like that seems about right, Solanke has looked good in preseason but still a bit green i think. As for a replacement, that's what I'm worried about, hoping Klopp doesn't just use some of the money to bring in VVD and then not sign a replacement.

Who would you want in to replace him?

I think even if Liverpool don't sell Coutinho, they still need another rotational AMC. Could probably offload a striker on loan too, if not sell. I mean there is Sturridge, Origi, Ings, Solanke and even Woodburn who want to play in the position that Firmino takes.

We've just sold Brad Potts to Barnsley for a fee believed to be £750k. League 2 was his level. Was awful when we bought him in League 1 and is more concerned with his hair than winning the ball back. If they can afford to carry him then he may do alright, not expecting him to start many games though tbh!
