Slightly silly point. But have you tried turning the brightness up?

I struggled at first, with crashing as the game was too dark, and I wasn't seeing obstacles/cars early enough.

I don't think I'm buying this year, because the scripting annoyed me too much in FIFA 13. Big chance I'll give in.

It's not that I'm not good at the game, it's I don't like playing when the outcome feels pre-determined.

De Fanti or whoever thought out Sunderland's transfer policy this summer has done extremely well to avoid any criticism in the press today. They're all strategy seems to be on offloading Bardsley, Cattermole etc., it's not surprising other football clubs don't want overpaid Sunderland rejects. Instead they sold Sessegnon and Mignolet, therefore (along with Rose) they have gotten rid of three of their four best players and replaced them focusing more on quantity than quality.

Well, that's just not true. Di Canio has been relying on the old guard.

Westwood, Colback, O'Shea, Brown, Celustka, Johnson, Ki, Gardner, Fletcher, Borini/Altidore is probably his favoured line up.

Roberge and Diakite have filled in at CB, and Mavrias has came off the bench a couple of times, none of the other signings have played. Except Cabral who has already been ostracised. Di Canio went into game one of the season with Larsson and Cabral as his midfield duo, they have both been ostracised by gameweek 5, and neither were in the matchday squad.

There's a reason other managers very rarely criticise players in public. Totally takes the heat of Di Canio as well, by criticising mistakes, it totally exonerates himself from the equation. The players aren't going to play for him either, if he really was how he's been portrayed.

Okay, this game is pretty much the greatest thing since sliced bread, possibly even greater.

Was being chased by the police, found an opening by the motorway that led into a tunnel that turns out to be the sewers, I drive around down there for like 5 minutes and then I end up in the big aqueduct out in the sun. Just fucking awesome level design.

The whole world just feels so much more alive than it did in IV, and I haven't even gotten out into the countryside yet.

The LA River?

Does the pause menu take ages for everyone else?

Carragher was asked a question, he gave an answer and explained it.

Neville was the one who started talking about his former club and supplied a lot of anecdotes and didn't offer a fact. At least Carragher didn't start talking about Liverpool's philosophy being of possession football and counter attacking. Neville also makes the point of playing with all three, ignoring that Carragher has as well.

Tbf full back can be the most fun position to play. Attacking from deep and often not being marked/tracked properly. Carragher is right though, every full back in England is a failed something else.

It can also be a nightmare when up against a quick winger. (I'm very slow)

Funny how Paul Ince is currently top of the Championship with a terrible Blackpool side and Sean O'Driscoll is in the relegation zone of League 1 with Bristol City, and yet O'Driscoll is still much more respected and highly rated.

I remember seeing him sent off for a similarly terrible challenge during Wigan's recent defeat by Bournemouth that nearly led to a fight between the benches.

Yeah, and he also apparently did an awful tackle on Gai Assulin. So 3 awful challenges. With Martinez and Wigan defending him, arguably he's not going to learn and stop doing them.

I will say that Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High is pretty listenable. Not amazing but I wouldn't be upset if it was on the radio.

I quite like it and it's the only song on the album that I find interesting, but I think it sounds like a Flight of the Concords song.

West Ham are absolutely knackered if that's accurate. Maiga and Vaz Te are the only forwards at the club and I think they prefer to be on the wings rather than play as a central striker. And Allardyce tried to shift them both in the window I think.

If they don't bring in Marica/Petric/Carlton Cole soon and (get them fit), I could really see them deep in relegation trouble by January.
