Hi Flut, I was wondering how easy it would be to remove current ability, potential ability and hidden stats (1) while still keeping the goalkeeping rating and preferred moves (2). Also how easy or if it is even possible to have physical information (3) replacing the hidden stats (1) .

Hi: I couldn't look at your screenshot...If you want to return to the default information in that part of the panel you just have to delete the player additional attributes panel.xml and reload the game.

Well...try the follow:

1. Rename the folder you downloaded with the kits already ready for use with flutskin . Call it for example aaaaaaakitsaslogos
2. Place the folder here:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\graphics|logos
Create the folder "graphics" if it doesn't exist.

Tks Flut, I suggest you can state these at the #1 so newbie could easily find it. However I've done this with fm2017flutskindark setting file, at phase:

I changed colour for excellent, normal, good ect..., save file, quite game, reload game, reload skin but nothing happen?
Besides that, could you please tell me how to change the colour for inj status because atm it is at pink half red colour, which is quite similar to on international duty.

Regarding the background boxes, the procedure I told you is the correct for change it. Thus I don't know what is the problem. Sorry. Try to keep only this skin in the skins folder, exit the game and reload it again (you can also try to clean the cache).
Regarding the "injury status", please put a screenshot in order I can see what are you talking about.

I have downloaded the kits, of which I can see, however the kits are still obscured by the thumb pic of the stadium, As you can see my graphics folders is organised and shows the club page no problem. Its just on the individual player that is causing the problem.

"XML parsing error !: no element found at line 579 of error offset invalid - corrupted buffer ?"

Look carefully in the code because there is something you deleted or not completely deleted that causes that message (look at line 579).

Hi: I already explained how to do it lots of times in this thread. However, here is again the explanation:
1. Go to settings.xml and open it
2. Search for:

<colour name="unknown attribute background" red="227" green="178" blue="110"/>
<colour name="low attribute background" red="246" green="42" blue="42"/>
<colour name="normal attribute background" red="255" green="156" blue="0"/>
<colour name="good attribute background" red="15" green="158" blue="15" />
<colour name="excellent attribute background" red="20" green="247" blue="28" />

3. Change the values of red, green and blue
4. save the changes
5 . Reload the game

Still the best skin by far for FM2017, dark skins have less visual appeal for me. Gloomy looking etc.

My question is how to remove the stadium thumb pic from the player profile. As you can see it's superimposed over the kits images.

Hi: The picture appears because you don't have the 2D kits for player attributes and titlebar. You can download it through the link I included in the post of the skin (look at Important Notes).

You have to open the "league stage panel views.xml" (is in the competition folder, located in the panels folder of the skin), find all the code font="fonts/capitals" and delete it.

I use the in game preference to change player's attributes colour but nothing happen. Could anyone tell me how to change it please. It works only with default skin not with add on skin.
I even tried to edit the XML file fm2017flutskindark settings but same result.

In fact, in order to change the colour of background attributes you have to edit the code (changing the values of colours) in the settings. After the changes you have to exit the game and reload it.

Hello Flut, i just upgrade from version 2.4 to version 2.5 today, but like the other ones i got some issues still going on, I did what u said some time ago and already fixed many of them, but some mistakes i just cant fix, like the one on the pic. As you know im a big fan of the skin and i use 1600x900 resolution full screen with 85% zoon, i know its not the right one but this is the max of my notebook and since i love the skin i would like to have it running even if there is no solution for that.

Edit: Another error i have found has been posted by another user on the dark skin thread, its related to the nation flags not showing on the career start screen, like on the second picture.

try to delete some xml files in the fonts folder of the skin. You can start by the file text.xml and afterwords by team_titlebar (it is in the fonts folder of the skin). Each time you delete one of the files, reload the game and look at the changes. Sorry but I change lots of fonts files and I can't remember all of them.
