Yeah I added the edit file of the sites custom start date of the last batch of fixtures in real life too (February whenever it was).

Shame it hasn’t worked. Looks like I’ll have to start a new save

SI have been made aware of the issues in and around transfer bans/custom start dates for years I have given up reporting them now there is no point

some tips that may assist instead of a transfer ban which isnt realistic long term

I use FMRTE to keep players at a club by setting the contract start date/signed to be in the future the outcome is even if you play as a 'top' club and try and sign a non league player even IF the club accepts the offer the player will refuse to enter negotiations as they will say they have only just joined club/signed a new contract so this works brilliantly
This can be added to as many players as you wish by use of a pre set

Ive just got to 1st July 2020 and I'm not able to sign anyone. No free transfers and my board didn't give me any budget..

This was a bug I reported in previous versions to SI must be still there

same with using custom start dates sometimes this happened then too

Sorry @Luke Hearn, what you're aiming for is just not possible. That's one of the perils of using editor data files, you just can't know all the changes done by the creator. If this is a file which has been in place for many years, it may be worth having a word with him to suggest that this edit is not included in next year's edition.

open file select details it will show DB changes and if there any failed changes

run a search for the failed changes in the categories you have edited if there are any you can try to re edit any failed changes then
NB save the file in the 20.4 DB then (but either copy the original file, or rename it 20.4 etc and use ''save editor data as '' this way you have the original file as a back up)

you need to open advanced rules for the nation

then go to the fixture rules for the comp( I have shown here the super ligue change to what you want then if you want different rules for the following season you need to add what is needed to the current fixture rules but to run from 2019 or whenever you want - see second screenshot

Sadly this is going to keep rising if people continue to ignore the Lockdown rules!

I work in the Emergency Services, and the amount of people I see out and about as if it is a normal day is shocking. Not to mention people continuing to cough and spit on us and claim to have the disease.

we had a middle aged man here yesterday his behavior was abhorrent, thought it would be a lark to film himself coughing and spitting on supermarket staff/shoppers he has been arrested and will be in court AM tomorrow he has been named and shamed locally and has been told there is no job for him when this is all over...hope he gets sent down too, sure he isnt laughing now

Hi

Just thinking about a project where a more fairer World will rise from this terrible event

The plan is to give top leagues the same prize money /tv money etc and clubs will have same budgets/sponsorship it should make it a level playing field and stop the financial doping advantage some leagues/clubs have

Also need to address the transfer fees paid/wages etc

So will need help with some of this I am prepared to do the advances rule world for the leagues

If there is interest post on thread and we can allocate some of the tasks required most are simple and wont take long shared out it could be done quickly

I have ran a little sim for a couple of seasons and the results are going as I wanted
eg top EPL clubs have a budget of approx £33--40m and wages are decreased by 50%
hopefully with everything in place teams like Ajax will not need to sell their top players also the top players will be shared about as clubs wont be able to pay the wages

also looking for some ideas to make this more interesting perhaps squads with a max wage budget /min number of players under certain age in match day squad etc etc
