but may be worth clearing cache for FM 21 editor data in App Data folder should be under C:\Users\your user name \AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Editor 2021
NB you will lose your settings for the editor so not a hardship but editor will be in default settings when next launched

IIRC there was a bit of a bug a couple of versions ago similar to your issue where getting previous winners/runners up of comps wasnt working correctly and therefore causing the created comp not to work after the initial start year could be still there worth checking at SI to see if its reported

its something I have never done
this should do it- you can set that rule to a specific club or league
so if the squad max number is 25 set that rule to match the requirement and that should do it that club then can only have home nation players

in latest update he is now manager at Botafogo but he is also Ass Man of Brazil

right the update is now out and sam allardyce is now correct but poch is showing as a coach at PSG and a coach for the Argentina national team sammy lee as a coach at WBA so still a few issues

just select edit and he is shown as being the manager of a club Botafogo and an unnamed national team manager in our editor
users are reporting issues that when using the update he is in charge of Brazil instead of Tite

just tried to check the latest update but it hasnt updated to the most recent release it is still downloading yesterday's 02/01/21

are you asking can you add an edited file to a saved game? if so thats not possible it means starting a new save

as with other players before eg odegaard etc he is too young for SI to add initially to the DB and image rights etc you would need to ask them for a full explanation

are you getting manager first team to be <integer id="new_value" value="5"/>
if so that is the 5th choice in the list of options of jobs in the drop down list in the official editor so it might be its going up numerically..I will do a quick check now

IIRC when you create a non player or give an unattached non player a contract in the official editor it defaults to the job being either coach or chairman
