@DYSFWizard, as you can see, Bastiaans' cut is slightly sharper (apart from being rotated slightly to be fully upright and brigthened a tad). I suggest using this technique to get the best possible quality for your cuts 😉

Usually I would do that except that my student adobe account expired.

Photopea can use all the commands similar to Photoshop, you know.

Yeah I ran it through remove bg several times the snow won't go away. If anyone has a better software then go for it.

The easiest way is to place the results of remove BG in Photoshop,

create a new layer at photoshop with a white background,

save it, and go back to removeBG.

Usually, all the snow will disappear.

Hey @tiboo , your edit is still too red.

his skin is still too red
Try Ctrl + B (Command + B). for RGB edit
If you want to brighten the image, Ctrl + M.
Or at least use the desaturate tool.

These tools are in Photoshop and Photopea, the basic commands are the same

If you don't know where the sharpener tool is, don't use too much, just a little sweep to reduce blurring.

I saw some of your cropped images, they look blurry.

I know the source should be sharper.
Did you edit them using Photopea?

The final result will be blurry, not close to the Photoshop result.

Try checking your results. Use the Photopea sharpener tool

to reduce the blurriness in Photopea.

I give you useful tips , if you use adobe photoshop

To prevent your image from being too underexposed or dark,

try pressing Ctrl + M on your keyboard or Command + M if you're using a Mac.

There's a graph there that can be raised and lowered (curve) .

This can be used to increase the brightness level. You can use Auto there. Then, lower the curve in the graph table a little if you're having trouble understanding the curve.

@Bastiaans, @mons I‘d still like to clarify one point: my concern is not about the difficulty of moving up the collar, but rather the additional time needed compared to simply cropping the image. I have a custom software here allowing me to perfectly crop in only a few seconds — whereas adjusting the collar can take several minutes per image.

This might not seem significant for just a handful of images. But with hundreds of source images, the additional time scales up drastically.

This is not a matter of difficulty, but more of a skill issue 😂

Try looking for more on the club's Facebook or the player's personal Instagram, usually the resolution is bigger, rather than taking it directly from Google or the club's website which has already compressed the resolution.
