training isn't rocket science! I only train people in their field or in the area that I want them to play in.

I don't understand, am I incredibly stupid? Not only do they want me to pay his full wages, thats fine, he will play for me, but they then want me to pay 7 times his wages ONTOP of that, just to have him on loan?

How in gods name does that work out? Not only that, but the 'expected monthly fee' is 400k. 400k for one player.

Surely there is something being missed here...by me, or someone else, because not a club in the world would pay 1/2/3/4 hundred thousand a month to loan a player

Help me out? Am I just being really thick, or do they want my entire wage budget for one player?

I've had struggles, and found the best thing to do is really really use your Assistant Manager. On the team selection page, click the shiny new match tactics advice button (near top right on the standard skin), and, assuming your AM has a decent tactics rating, do everything he says. I usually use control at home, counter away, but always what the AM suggests. Then, during the match, always follow AM advice during the game, regarding closing down, changing passing style, tempo. etc. The only time I ignore is when it says "We are being seriously overrun in midfield" because it ALWAYS says that if the opposition has more midfielders than you.

If you're playing as Man Utd, ditch Giggs, he is terrible as 1st team AM. Promote Butt to 1st team AM, and utilise his tactics at all times.

I'm starting to realise there is no point doing anything in FM16, players just whinge about everything possible and even when there is the option to interact they always end up threatening to turn the squad against you! I guess the only way round the individual training is just to let him whinge but leave him doing it, not sure if that will be damaging to his performance levels though.

I just recently started playing FM 2016 after a 2 year break and I gotta say it's way way harder than it was when I was playing 2011, 2012, 2013... I can see the effects on my players when I change tactics but no matter who I'm playing against there's no difference. They always intercept my attacks and find a way around my defense WAY too easily.

just go back to basics. play with no team instructions or player instructions.

Season long loan deals cannot be recalled unless you are in a transfer window. Also any loan where the team has paid a fee upfront prevents you from recalling the player.

I'm in limbo over what to do in my future FM career. I've just finished the end of the 3rd season with Blackburn Rovers.

1st season - Playoff semi - Lost
2nd season - won league & promoted to premiership
3rd season - relegated - finished 19th,back down to Championship.

It's summer, & i applied for the Uruguay job and got it, i'm just currently in the group stages of world cup and have won 2 out of 2. My reputation is average and probably what is expected for a Blackburn Rovers manager. I feel like i don't want to manage in the championship and don't know whether to resign or just stick it out for a while longer & see what i can do in the future?

My bank balance is healthy at £40m & a few stars such as Ravel Morrison will fetch me £8/£9m yet too..

We've all been there. Player is unhappy, and wants to leave. Offer him for transfer for silly money, and no offers.

Then you see the box - Ask <player> to speak to clubs.

Click it, and have a player interaction telling the player to look for a new club.

has it ever actually worked? I've never said that to a player, and they've come back and said they've found a new club, or a club has made an offer based on the player or agent contacting them.

So why is it in the game? What's the point?

RB Salzburg have great resources and as such should generate a healthy youth team. plus they must have some disgruntled second stringers you can take advantage of. I would be happy with them as a parent club as a lower team.

So I typically play a standard 4-4-2 with my teams, especially lower league, simple and easy to understand. I usually go with a ball winning midfielder role (on defend) and a centre midfielder role (on support) as my middle two.

My issue is that I find the ball winning midfielder picks up a huge (and I mean huge) amount of yellow cards throughout a season, and is sent off quite frequently! It's the only position in the team that seems to collect cards for fun, whichever player I put in there. On my current save, I've had my 1st choice in the role pick up 16 bookings and 3 red cards, which has totalled roughly 11 games suspended for him!

The other lads I put in there also tend to reach at least 10 yellows a season.

Anyone else have this issue and what have you done to reduce the cards? Or is there a simple way I can try to reduce the number of cards (whilst still keeping the role as Ball Winning Midfielder)? The player instruction doesn't allow me to change the tackling instruction.

Do you find that makes a big difference ??? If so I might have to give it a go

I haven't played yet only holidayed and took over a few big clubs to see what their expectations are so not sure. I think they would take into account that they have a transfer ban
