it would of been helpful if you had said in the opening post that you had been playing fm for over 10 years, your opening post made it sound like you were a complete newcomer to the game. when did i say who should or should not play the game, i never said that so please don't try to put words into my mouth that i didn't say silly yank, that is the thanks you get for taking the time to try to help someone. there are plenty of tactical guides for football manager online if you simply use the google search engine, i could be more helpful but after your last rude comment i am not going to give you any assistance whatsoever so you are on your own now...

will the board get annoyed with you for failing to strengthen the squad tho, especially at one of the top clubs with big budgets?

interesting idea, the only problem is if your managing a top club, season expectations will be to compete to win the league but after a few years your squad won't really be better then other teams unless you get lucky with youth products, so you will need to be very good tactically to get results and avoid the sack, nice challenge tho...

klopp likes players with a high rate and shane long really works his socks off, so i could actually see that one happening. klopp has been trying to get benteke to run more without much success

if it is a season long loan then i believe you can only recall the player during the transfer window, if it is a short term loan for like a month for two then you can recall at any time during the loan. also, if you charged the other club an initial fee for the loan like 500k or something then i don't think you can recall him because obviously that wouldn't be fair on the club that paid the fee...

last film i went to the cinema to see was focus, the one with will smith. terrible film, i cannot understand the positive reviews for it. for a film about a con artist the cons were a bit rubbish and very far fetched. also unlike other con movies will smith didn't just target bad guys who deserved it, he was stealing from regular folk, nothing better then a common thief and he was supposed to be the good guy of the film. also the film was very boring with nothing happening for most of it...

i guess you will have to sell a few high earners in january to cut the wage bill to pass ffp, i think you will get points deducted for next season otherwise, i have seen teams get points deducted in my saves. a player on 100k a week earns £4.8 million a year not including bonuses in the contract, so £16 million over is a big amount, 3 or 4 players salaries at least...

the manager of distillery must have a tough job on his hands to stop the players turning up drunk to each game, they are probably getting paid in liquor, no wonder they are in the relegation zone

ok my mistake, the way i look at it if a player was injured at the start of the season in real life it makes sense for him to be injured from the start in the game. also it doesn't feel realistic to have luke shaw available for selection when in real life he is probably out for the season, so if his injury gets added in the jan update that will be fine by me, even tho it will be annoying to have to deal with it in game...

WHAT.......A........GAME............ fantastic entertainment tonight, obviously i am disappointed we didn't win, but its a breath of fresh air to see a game like that...

van gaal keeps blaming our style of football on the lack of pacy wingers in the squad, but he has already had 3 transfer windows to sort that out and spent a fortune in those 3 windows, and now he is into a 4th window. if we still don't have any good wingers after his 4th transfer window at the club and virtually an open cheque book then it is his own fault. also, if he thinks we lack pace why does he keep playing mata on the wing when we have, lingard, depay or even valencia who could play there, i know they are a pretty poor bunch but they couldn't do any worse then mata surely...

seems a bit wierd to not have any injuries in the game, injuries are part and parcel of football, thats why you need a strong squad, but each to your own, you paid your money you can play the game however you like...

can i just ask, what do you guys use to post pics on here, i print screened the pic, pasted it into paint and then uploaded it to photobucket, then i used the link from photobucket. however as you can see the quality of the pic i posted is quite poor, how do you get better quality like the ones others have posted?

i actually found myself feeling a bit drowsy just watching it on the telly, watching the ball go backwards and side to side for 90 minutes is strangely hypnotic...

it just seems a bit random to be honest, some players you can get a lot cheaper then you expected but others are ridiculously overpriced. is the player you are trying to get at a rival club, sometimes the price gets bumped up because the rival club doesn't want to do business with you...

when offering a player to clubs on loan you see the two loan options at the bottom, ''can play in cup matches'', ''can be recalled'', you can also add another clause by clicking the add button, or remove the clauses you don't want. if the clause that you want is not there when a club makes a loan offer to you then you just click the add button at the bottom and add it. to cancel a loan you go to the attribute screen of the player and go to the transfer drop down menu, at the bottom you will see terminate loan.

was a strange move for januzaj to go there in the first place, but glad he's back, i don't think he's good enough but he can do a job until the summer...

I have had the same problem with a save not loading in the past, it was caused by a graphics pack/add on that i downloaded, removing the add on solved the problem for me. As i said in my first post when you uninstall make sure all traces of fm16 are removed from your system, look through C: for any folders/files that are left over, and make sure all add ons are removed also. You could also try installing the game on a different drive instead of C:, that should fix the problem if something you downloaded to C: is inteferring with the game. If that doesn't work and you have exhausted all other suggestions you can reinstall windows and remove everything on the system, it will return windows 10 to its original state when you first installed it, this will fix the problem. Back up any important files you want to keep including fm saves before you do this, you can use a usb or if you don't have one then cloud storage...

oh no, thats unlucky, it does it automatically on vista, i never had to set it up on my system. in any case you should set it up in case of future problems, it has got me out of a few pickles myself. try to report the problem to sports interactive, they might have an answer...

When you uninstall the game there are still fm16 files left on your computer i believe, make sure all fm16 files are gone from your computer before re-installing. If that doesn't work then there is another way that might work, basically something has changed on your computer to stop the files from loading, if you cannot identify and fix what has changed then there is another thing you can try. Your computer automatically creates system restore points, if a recent update has a detrimental effect, or if you accidentally change or delete an important file or if anything else changes for the worse on your computer you can select one of the system restore points and revert your computer back to the state it was in when the restore point was created.

If you remember how long ago it was that you stopped being able to load the saves then make sure you select a restore point from before that date, so you can revert back to a time when they were still loading. Go to control panel, system and maintenance, back up and restore centre, there should be an option titled ''Use system restore to fix problems and undo changes to Windows', click on that. You don't want the recommended restore point because that is the most recent one and not far back enough, select '' choose a different restore point'' and click next, you should see an option on bottom of screen that says ''show restore points older then 5 days', select it. Now you have a list of all your restore points and you can select one that was created before you had the problem with your saves, click next and finish. System restore won't touch any of your documents, pictures or other personal data, but if you want to back them up on usb anyway that is up to you. I have used system restore lots of times, its very simple and nothing can really go wrong with it.

p.s. instructions to perform system restore are based on my windows vista os, so the process might be a bit different depending on your os, anyway good luck...

bale must of had some serious injuries in your save to lose that much pace, i don't think its normal for him to decline by that much at age 32. i am interested to know how your using him, surely he is too slow for the wing very unlucky against gladbach, that is why i hate the away goals rule, its so unfair
