Remember that the correct dimensions for a cut are 250x250, so please resize and upload it again. Meanwhile, here are some suggestions I can give you to improve your cut: leave only 2-3 pixels under the chin (right now there's a big gap) while avoiding the "chicken neck" effect (so always include a little bit of collar). You can also brighten it up just a tad bit.
Anyway I'd suggest you to give a look to our thread "Tutorials and guidelines for cutters", where you can find these and other tips to get a perfect cut. If you have any questions, I'm here. 😉

@SteveG_8 I'm just checking your Russia. PFL. Group2. Luki-Energia pack: your cutting technique is quite good but the final cuts are often a little too dark.
To address this problem, if you use Photoshop you can go to Image--->Adjustments---->Levels and there you can work a bit with Shadows, Midtones and Highlights. In alternative you can raise the brightness clicking on Image----->Adjustments---->Brightness/Contrast.

I'll upload here this player edited by me as an example (consider that I brightened it up a lot on purpose to show you the difference, but the ideal cut should be slightly more dark than that). If you want you can do the rest. 😉

@mons FYI imago-images is usually a better source for 'Alamy' pics.

Hey @rupruijs, your cut isn't bad at all, but I guess you had to resize it to 180x180 (instead of 250x250) as the original source had a poor quality, right? If you haven't read it yet, please give a look to our guide on how to find the best possible source images. I found a pretty good pic on his team's FB page and I uploaded it here, so if you wanna try cutting it, just give it a go! If you feel like you need some more tips on how to cut an image properly, following our standards, just check our tutorials and guidelines for cutters out. 😉

@QwasNoMore The cut is fine but there's too much space below the chin. An ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Could you please re-cut this player following these indications?

There is some "snow" in this cut,so I'd suggest you to check this tutorial out

My request pic is a year older than the other pic but the headshot is bigger so it may make a better cut-out. However please feel free to use the original source pic if a decent 250x250 cut-out can be made from it.
