Please use this thread to inform me of changes you think are relevant to clubs that you'd like to see included in the FM 24 summer update (i.e. board takeovers, significant sponsorship deals, new club links etc).

Welcome to the League Updates thread for the FM24 summer transfer update! Please post any queries or information about changes to leagues in this thread and consult the ongoing changes log in this top post to check what updates have been completed so far.

Leagues with ALPHA next to them are not completely finished - they either have structural changes to account for, play offs yet to finish OR may have some alterations to which teams are in specific sub-divisions etc that are yet to be finalised.

Leagues with BETA next to them are completed in so far as the playable leagues, but further work is required on the leagues below them to update their accuracy once league compositions have been finalised.

Yeah, should be good to go with a file to set up next years Libertadores format.

Biggest concern for summer is going to be Europe and the new format as it’s obviously not set up in the default files which are set up to use input for the sadly no defunct format.

The new game should be accurate as the league structure will be updated to accommodate the changes so I would hope so!

Not yet, still having issue getting the game to recognise the correct Championnat National advanced rules. Rather frustrating!

Third tier was breaking the French league when changes to top two were made to reflect changes in real life, still working in a fix. Frustrating but I felt it was the best trade off versus Ligue 1 and 2 being incorrect. Hopefully going to get it working soon.

Just for future reference, no other extra files are guaranteed to work with our update as the changes involved in each may clash and create conflict, unfortunately.

Still looking at a work around, hopefully I’ll get a chance to figure it fully over the weekend.

I just needed a short break after the long work on finances, I’ll do my best to tweak the remaining issues where possible.

I'll keep tweaking the file, Arda does have some really good technical and mental stats already so it's the balance between upgrading him but not going too overboard as he is still very young and you need to give him some room for growth still.

Yes they've been updated, I may tweak them slightly here or there but they've been updated yes.

Budgets are decided around a number of factors but key to Southampton is that not all of the fees received will be upfront as that is how most deals are structured (you'll receive healthy monthly instalments for Lavia, Livramento etc over a number of years including additional bonuses based on achievements so long term your budgets will still benefit), there is also the cost of relegation where not every fee received will automatically go into the budget as they need to balance their books and retain some of the cash to pay for this.

It's been disabled as the issue was due to problems relating to promotion from Champ. Nat. so this is the easiest work around until it can be fixed.

He’s also in the update at Lorient.

A BETA file for Saudi Arabia is now uploaded (primarily to facilitate their place in the wider market). As such it is NOT a finished article, though it absolutely does work.

Club finances are now included in the database, they should be available after the next upload.

In addition to the above, I have uploaded a new France file that will prevent players encountering this bug. Only Ligue 1 and 2 are playable, but this does mean that both will receive fixtures and Ligue 2 will still restructure at the end of the first season.

Once I have worked out a fix the normal number of playable divisions will be re-uploaded.

At the moment if you play with Ligue 1 and 2 active then the results will be populated as normal, the issue is the transition between Ligue 2 and Championnat National. In the interim I suggest anybody playing with France active only does so with the top two divisions active.

Hey mate, I've had this reported to me and will investigate the issue.

Portuguese leagues now fully updated and re-structured.

Just delete or deselect the file when starting a new game for Updated Age and Contract by 1 Year.

It hasn’t been released yet, work is being prioritised on the budgets and wages for clubs 

Thanks mate that is some good work, a BETA version of the Saudi PL and club updates is forthcoming so all feedback you have is valuable.

They’ll be added in the optional CA/PA update file.

Greenwood is back in the game in the update.

That is certainly my intention. I have a week of annual leave I plan to get a lot done in (so I can also get a game going too!) and things like this will be part of the improvements.

Thank you for the suggestions so far guys, i am working on this still but the priority is to sort out the finances and budgets now the window is closed but I absolutely will also make this available once a lot of the bulk work of that is done.
