i do this, but The record id is from turkish süperlig .  it was taken as an example because I didn't know which record id to take 🙄🤔

 

There are 3 identical mistake in your code, the ‘//’ before 01, 09 and 17 will be what are causing your issues

I dont know if anyone can help but im having an issue, (Firstly im on MAC).

 

I have put everything in the locations told to and the “Club” adboards work fine but the “No Club” adboards just show generic adboards (Emirates etc… no matter which competition im in.

 

I imagine i've done something wrong but has anybody had simular issues to this?

 

Once again when i use the Clubs only xml its perfect but the minute i switch it to the No Club its seems to just pick the generic ads

 

Can you post some in game screenshots?

Hi Rab,

 

Having a strange issue when playing in the SPL. When I play Aberdeen away, it always shows the Celtic static boards. Doesn't happen with any other away games. Then went to see Aberdeen playing other teams at home and get Celtic boards too. Using club xml, but from what I could see it looked fine.

 I also asked you if I can use the same ids as another league uses it?

If you are looking to add new ID numbers, anything with 8 digits should be ok, any ID numbers you pick just search the XML file if there are no results then the number is free.

for me it shows the videotape advertisements black

It looks like you have not selected an xml file, make sure you chosen an xml file like the image below

Dear All, I use flutskin, and have custom install location (not default). Where do i have to copy static folders: in my general folder, in flutskin subfolder or default directory which i changed after the installation (in still exists and have some basic files and folders)? Tried different combinations, still cannot see static ads :-( Can someone help, please.

You will need to install the xml file and graphics to the location where all the other graphics are

It changes the appearance of stadium? what do mean with that? 

Example a team with stadium 10.000 People play on 1. Game on that, and on second Game in Stadium with example 20.000 People ?

what is that?

It is a data file which changes the appearance of stadiums in any new save.

It’s optional, if you want to install place the editor data folder into the my documents/sports interactive/football manager 2021 folder

i hear from some users in meistertrainerforum in Germany, that with Update 1.2 some Issues are in example Germany 1. Bundesliga ( with the Video Adboards)

= thanks for check the path for your Update 1.2 Files, and thank for fix that + to  include in Update 1.3

 

I have just tested the Bundesliga with both xml files and there are no issues

so am I right in saying, you can only have EITHER cup and competition boards OR club boards? I have a Milan save and I’m wondering as champs league in san siro with the boards and banners would be 🤌🏼🤌🏼

With AC Milan in the Champions League

Clubs xml file = AC Milan video adboards (Adidas, Fly Emirates etc) and AC Milan fan banners

No Clubs xml file = Champions League video adboards (Sony, Heiniken etc) and AC Milan fan banners

Maybe I'm a special case, but this is what happens when I follow the file path: 

 

Also, another thing that confuses me is that the personalized team banners are showing but the advertisements are not?

 

 

 

The simatchviewer_uncompressed folder is contained in the zip file for this patch you need to paste it into to the above folder as per the installation instructions. You have not done this step and this is why you have no video ads.

I'm seeing black adboards and have followed the instruction to have graphics quality at 'medium' at least. It's also advised to rename the 'HD' folder to 'SD' to trick the system into treating the same files as graphics which put a lower demand on the system. Where is the ‘HD’ folder located so I can rename it?

 

Sppolosied I need to update this guide, graphics settings now at least need to be set to high.

 

HD folder is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2021\data\simatchviewer_uncompressed\videos\hd

I'm trying to get my banners in the right places and I'm doing a little at a time, then reloading to check. Is it usual that the numbered boards keep moving around? It's making positioning them impossible.

The numbered boards only change if thier is an error in the xml file, as 2 defult ads are showing (kick it out) that may be your issue

@rabcp Just so I understand you correctly: By a “fresh install” do you mean a complete removal of all FM-files (in all locations = manually)? I have uninstalled and then re-installed FM21 via Steam, sadly with no change in visual results.

 

Maybe try removing all adboard files and try again, I don’t really know what to suggest unfortunately as everything had been installed to the correct location

Thank you. Could you please tell me : what type of ads are installed in each occasion? For example, what ads are depicted if I choose club specific adboards (sorry, I do not understand the differences from the attached pictures)?

 

If you use the ‘club ads file' and play as Man United then the adboard’s displayed in all of your home games will be of the sponsors on Man Utd (Adidas, Chevrolet etc) regardless of the competition you are playing in.

 

If you used the ‘no clubs file' then when you play in the Champions League the Champions League adboard’s will be displayed and in the Premier League the generic English Premier League adboard’s will de displayed instead of the Man Utd sponsors.

Why are there two different xml files?
As the folder names suggest one xml file contains club specific adboards and one does not. This has been done as in previous patches people have complained that they see clubs specific adboards in cup competitions. Due the way the xml file there is no way around this using code. The only solution is the use of two files, the pictures below demonstrate the difference in the xml files.

I have received numerous requests for the Japanese J League, if people can list the 10 most frequently seen sponsors and post links to recent videos in HD then I will make them. These videos need to be at least 10 mins long and ideally full matches. Posting 5 min videos are no good as I need longer videos to see the full animations used in the video ads.

@rabcp , I spotted an error in the fm.xml file (both club and no club options)

 

the following needs to be changed from

Here are 4, from Etihad and St James' Park respectively.

Everything is correct, there has been a few other people who had the same issue as you and they had to do a fresh install of FM21 to get the video ads to show.
