Watching key situations in game. Not instant

Talks with the team - giving to asistant. He have 16 team works, 17 motivation, 18 determinafion.

Press conferences etc = asistant

Trening also Staff.

Tactic familiary 100%.

I reaload game yestaerday and gets fired after next one...

Sadly I've not used the tactic myself but something you could try to make your Defensive Line higher, this may result in more balls over the top but it will help your own team pressure the opposition to win the ball back.

Also try not to play attacking mentality every game, use Positive or Balanced.

Game is currently driving me a little bit mad, still cannot stop the direct laser guided long balls the opposition make as if you drop your defence line back too far you lose a lot of the tactics attacking force, plus you still suffer the long balls anyway just maybe not as many. Secondly I cannot get my head around the amount of clear cut chances my strikers miss, most games I'm creating more than the opposition yet they're able to blast the ball into the net from all angles where as my players appear to gently roll it to the keeper ffs.

Now I'm certainly not going to give up but it is making it very hard to enjoy when the results are so much worse than our performances. I end up messing with my tactics to try and counter the problems which in turn just makes things worse

What is smarter AI managers?

It's an add on to make the AI managers more difficult to beat but if you've but heard of it you're certainly not using it.

Are you using instant result or watching highlights during matches?

Played 8 games in my Nottm Forest new game. Lost 7. One draw. And gets fired... I lost even when my opp played in 9 (2x red).

I dont know what im doing wrong. Got pretty decent team.

My team knows tactics. They are familiar with it in 100% and still losing 0-4 etc.

Strange as I've not seen such bad results elsewhere with this tactic, maybe try my own 3-2-3-2 tactic that I've posted as I won the championship with Forest using that, though was a few seasons into the game.

Morning everyone, I've not forgotten about this but was just letting people (myself included) get used to the game before announcing anything.

As most of you know we usually have a yearly Susie On Tour competition where each months challenge is set in a different location and will also be themed depending on what the month is. This has always proved very popular up until last year where sadly it dwindled away for some reason.

Well I offered to take over but things will be very different with me doing it. You'll still manage in various locations but I prefer to keep the challenges shorter, hopefully so you're able to play for a couple of sessions or so then go back to your main saves that you're no doubt all playing (and doing very well in I hope).

This thread is just for me to have an idea of if there is enough interest to actually start it up with the first challenge starting after the new year in early January.

Here's a hint at what the first challenge will be, it's everyone's favourite last at Christmas where you take over the club who are bottom of the league after the Christmas period games and you're job is to lead them to safety, so yes you've guessed it will be in the Premier League. But to give you a little helping hand they may have just been taken over by a wealthy tycoon who not only sees you as his new clubs saviour, but is also willing to pump some much needed funds into the club in its fight against relegation.

So let me know in here if you're interested

Nice to see Notts back in the Prem. One of the biggest clubs in England and should be up there!

£50m is still big for a club like them though! Keep it up!

Yeah it is and hopefully I've spent it well, we're faves to go down again this season so I guess that makes last season's achievements quite impressive and would have to be very happy if we can match that again.

Certain the new stadium opens at the end of the coming season so no sign of me moving on for at least another couple of years.

Also just remembered I've forgotten to add my last season so will have to do that tonight.

Folks, played FM for many years, bar last year and have always added kits, logos, skins etc. Absolutely cannot donut this time. Using PC, downloading, extracting etc, putting into Graphics/Kits folder and so on. No joy and yes, have ticked the right preference boxes etc. Even tried doing away with the kits/skins folders and putting them all straight into the graphics folder, makes no difference! Can anyone help?

Form was awful at the end (no surprise I guess) and yes 7th would have got us an EC2 play off. Hoping I get about £500m now to improve the squad

Will I find somewhere ready training schemes to use in FM 2020? I found a package but it had over 40 patterns - I can't understand it

or question on the other hand. Will leaving trainings for any coach ok? What attributes must a high trainer have to manage it well?

Leaving training to your coaches is fine, the main attributes they need to have are determination and motivating as well as whatever type of coach they are attacking/defending/technical.

Version 2.0 is released. First post updated for download.

Changelist.

Fixed the issue with the preseason start date in Egypt.
Fixed some oddities with Ghana fixtures not being well distributed.
Nigerian Premier League added. All teams have up-to-date rosters where possible (some teams are very difficult to get info on, and these will struggle in the game with the AI).
Removed a couple of duplicates I have missed.

I hope this image looks better when you click it! I have a massive monitor and it ends up with some.. space sometimes. Note that some players in Nigeria do not have an age (where the player was in the database but I could not find the info). I do not know really how the game invents an age, but be aware that it can change from save to save. In addition, I found several incidences where a player was duplicated but the first and last names reversed. These are a pain in the backside so spot. I think I got them all, but if you do notice something let me know so I can delete and update the file asap.

What is next.

Likely I am taking a short break from editing until the new year. I have a proposal to write to apply for a permanent job in science which is going to take up the majority of my time. Editing is quite addicting, so I will avoid it to avoid too much procrastination. Plus, you know, as much as I love this file, it is less important for the next month.

After I return to editing, I have not decided which nation to add next. It will depend on what information I can find. I want most of the league to have real players (with ages if I can). I will look at Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Congo (and doctor Congo), Angola, etc. To see which is the best bet for this. Zimbabwe is on my radar too, Please, if anyone reading the thread has any ideas (and thank you to those who have already messaged me with ideas) or wishes in what they want to see next, feel free to let me know. This is a project of passion for me, but it is for the community, so I want to supply the community with what they want!

Anyone else using this and given it chance to settle in?

I've updated the file last night with two attacking corner routines (made by Guido Merry). Also if using with a smaller side I'd suggest against the bigger teams to start with the balanced mentality rather than all out attack when away from home. At home I still start attacking no matter who I'm against.

Though as I said in the main post, match mentality is really down to yourselves as you'll know how good/bad your team is.
