My new beauty arrived today

Nice! Thinking of getting a new bike during the summer. My current one is white but she's a bitch to keep clean so I want a black one. Like your one. Where'd you purchase it from?

The Dutch lower leagues would be fun , trying to emulate Ajax' blueprint perhaps using young players from the academy. Or Belgium. Cos Belgium is super cool.

So has Pep improved or worsened Bayern? They need 4 goals now. Plays right into Madrid's hands!

Decent ride mate, good average speed. Is it flat there?

Aye, Galway is really flat. Should have gone to uni in Dublin so I'd have the Dublin mountains to play with. Pisses me off cos where I live in Kerry its all hills I have, so can't wait to go home in a few weeks for the summer and test myself on them again.

Tis indeed. But I'd a tailwind home. So it was worth the visit.

Agree with what Tony Cascarino said today on SPN - we should have sat back and passed Chelsea to death. Let them attack us. All we had to do was not lose. Huge learning lesson for Rodgers. He's still young so he'll learn. He should have expected Chelsea to have been so defensive. Nevertheless CL football guaranteed so successful season in my eyes already.

Oh well. Bummer. Not over till the fat lady sings though. Whatever the outcome of the title we've been brilliant this season + finishing in the top 3 is magnificent. Unreal title race

Did 102km today. My biggest solo ride + quickest over that kind of distance! Tailwind home for the last 35 odd km so I put the boot down and really suffered but in a good way! Best segment was averaging 38.3 km/h for 8.8km with an average of 209 watts. May sound if I'm boasting but really really happy.

All the details below:

My garmin computer says I burnt 3,255 calories but strava says otherwise :/

Also, has anyone seen how skinny + ripped Chris Froome's lefs are?!?

Tonight's one was no where near as bad as last night. Although Bayerns tactic was fairly obvious - keep the ball as long as they could, then lob a cross to Manduzik - but Madrid him them on a few quality counters and really should have scored more than 1 goal. Ronaldo missed a sitter and Di Maria to a lesser extent. Madrid derby would be a wonderful final.

Yeah, the idea of having one massive stand and 3 smallish ones don't really appeal to me. Reminds me of the Aviva stadium but the other way around

How Anfield will look once the redevelopment is finished:

Should have a capacity of around 58,000 when completed. I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm finished college exams on the 7/5, and then I'm going to the Giro in Belfast (I'm volunteering) on the 9/5 to the 12/5.

After that, I'm planning on cycling home from Galway to where I live in Kerry. Approx 260km. May add a bit onto that though with the route I want to do. Want to cycle down by the coast rather than head down through the centre. May leave on the 14/5.

Day 1 would take me from Galway > Lisdoonvarna > Limerick. 140km. I'll stay with my brother then. (I have an alternative route for this which would take me further down the Clare coast but its 213km when I arrive to Limerick)

Day 2 would take me from Limerick > via the coast to Ballybunion > Tralee > home. Around 180km.

If I properly organize myself I can do it. I'm in good shape already, so if I took it easy its certainly doable. Plus the scenery along the coast should numb the pain a bit as well. Only downside is that one of the longest climbs in Ireland (The Connor Pass, 6-7km in length) is only about 30km from where I live so I'll probably seize up if I even make it to the top

If I was 5 points behind on FM, with 3 games left, and had a CL semi final match coming up, I'd rest my whole starting XI, regardless of the opposition and the implications it would have on the league outcome. Unless a miracle occurs, Chelsea won't win the title. Therefore makes more sense to concentrate on CL. They should beat Atlético next week and I'd fancy them in a one off game to beat either Madrid or Bayern. José almost always gets his tactics spot on for finals. Although in saying that I don't really want to Chelsea in another CL final or even worse - see them victorious. I liked José when he was managing abroad but now I'm starting to dislike him again. Kinda want Bayern to win it again.
