Etuhu, Robinson, Best, Dunn, Olsson, Goodwillie and DJ Campbell are going as soon as I can shift them!

Laughable what some supporters say, I'm in a huge Facebook group and been so close to leaving, people talk rubbish. I was skeptical when he was signing the likes of Marrow and Judge back, but he's built a young, hungry and talented squad, total opposite to our teams of the last few seasons. Also Tom Cairney is just brilliant, shame he's not really got going in my save
Have you had any success with Rovers on FM? Any tips greatly needed and appreciated haha!

I just thought this was a decent way to get myself back into FM. Had no luck on it this year, apart from a Liverpool season which was destroyed when I made too many changes in the second season and Suarez did one.
Anyway to my season...
What can I say? Its been a struggle. Performances against Wigan and Leicester were decent but didn't take chances, in the Morcambe game I made too many changes. From what I have seen I've got a lot of work to do to lift the team to get even challenging for the play-offs this campaign. Recently switched to a 4-3-3, with Rhodes, Conway and Marshall as the front 3, Tom Cairney, Jason Lowe and Cory Evans in midfield which has stopped the rot slightly.
Conceding goals is a massive problem, Killgallon has had some class games, Hanley has struggled as has Tommy Spurr, but I lack any defensive options, a dip in the loan market won't be too long in the future.
I'll post a league table soon, Im a bit lazy with the whole cropping and uploading thing. Hopefully when I get round to it I won't be 18th as I am now.
Well, I can only improve right?

This is the tactic I used for my first game, I don't think it will vary much, maybe a 4-2-3-1 when I need to bring David Dunn into the side.
A good start to the season, played some good Football and created chances, Rhodes could have had a couple but I can forgive him since his assist for Kings winner was brilliant.
Don't worry I wont do this for every game, from now on it will be an update of results at the end of each month and a short summary from myself.
Only transfer activity so far has been Josh Morris, a young left sided midfielder or full back, sold to Sheffield Wednesday. A decent young player but I don't think he will ever command a regular starting place especially if we get promoted. I will give a full transfer summary at the end of August.

So here goes my attempt to get Rovers back into the promised land within 2 seasons (hopefully)
Expectation: Top Half Finish
Transfer Budget: £200K
Wage Budget: £400K
As you can see not much to work with, but a very decent young squad for this level, and hopefully offload some of my higher earners.
Next update will be when I have played the first game of the season away at Birmingham, I will update you with transfer ingoing/outgoing and the tactics/formation I've gone with. Most likely will be a 4-4-2 with Gestede and Rhodes leading the line.
