All sorted now. Turns out that all I needed to do was to change the GPU rendering to software. Great skin, makes the game 10x better and cheers for the help!

Took out all skin files including a config file that was already there and rextracted the Steklo file but it is still the same, really not sure why. But I think you're right about a skin getting mixed up because occasionally you can't see the player or team name in the title bar at the top it's just black. And the backgrounds that are in your graphics folder for the skin like on the screenshots above I don't see on my game, just the black panels and also on the main menu when the game first comes on it is just a black background with the writing on. I only have the Steklo skin in my skins folder though and on preferences I only have the choice between Steklo and Football Manager so I don't know how that could be happening

Can see the background just at the side, but the main panels are dark instead of transparent. The same on every screen and also every skin I've tried. Cheers

Thanks for your reply Deano. I had used that path but it wasn't happening, but I've got it working fine by subscribing to it via the Steam Workshop, nice and easy. This is one of the best skins I've seen so congratulations on it.
One thing; I have downloaded the backgrounds megapack. I can see a bit of the backgrounds where the sidebar is, but the main panels of the screen like where the player profile is or news or squad screen for example aren't transparent like they appear to be on the screenshots so I can't see the majority of the backgrounds, any ideas on how I can change this? Because I've always loved the backgrounds on previous versions of FM, makes each team unique. Cheers

Problem solved, everything has downloaded ok, but the backgrounds aren't appearing in the game. I read somewhere about backgrounds only working on custom skins not the default ones but the skins I download aren't showing in the preferences menu. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. It just seems to get so far, only about one-tenth of the way, then stall. When I click to stop and then resume it then just says 345bytes or whatever instead of continuing to download. I'm not really sure why this is happening.

Hi, how long should the megapack take to download? Just because I'm using a Mac and when I clicked download it goes down into my dock at the bottom but the status bar doesn't seem to be going beyond about one-tenth of the way for some reason, even after leaving it for a hour. Same issue with the faces pack. Logos and kits worked fine though. Cheers
