Awww thats a shame 😢

I have copied over a team in the Vanarama South and edited every aspect, removing all the players and staff.

 

I am trying to set up a board, but it isn't working. I set the club as a LLC and removed all of the board staff, I added in an owner, managing director and chairperson.

 

I likely have done something wrong here bt have no idea how this should be set up?

I always play as conference team and work my way up the leagues. This year I want to actually create a club in the lowest league and customise it as fully as possible.

 

In beta I noticed it had a create a club mode, but it was incredibly wonky, it required you to effectively paste over an existing team. Personally I would have thought a feature like this provided by SI would be smarter, so say create completely new club and make promotions and relegations to accomodate this.

 

Also when I started adding kit mods it seemed to overwrite some of the stuff I designed.

 

The kit creator was dreadful as well.

 

I have purchased the data editor, thought this is something I have never used.

 

With the new update I have just finished updating all of my mods and wish to try again with this. I also want the club to have no staff or players and be upto me to recruit everyone. If I could create a director and board this would be even more perfect.

 

My question is as follows. What is the best was to achieve this? Has there been any improvement to the in house create a club option, or is it best for me to use the editor if I want to create something more complete and realistic?

Wow really looking forward to this, haven't seen this mod before and honestly something like this is sorely needed. Happy to give suggestions for future updates/versions/.

Hi. Plus version is for in game editor players only that want the CA-PA info. You need the Dark version which has all the bells & whistles but not CA-PA.

Hi Priisek. Thanks for the great skin. I donated and received pro, I came here today to get latest version and it seems there is no more Pro, but Plus.
 

I want to play with no CA/PA visible, but the plus and plus 1080 still seem to be showing it for me.

 

Any ideas what I can do? Thanks!

Actually works when your on the profile page but not when you use the quick pop up window, if anyone knows how to edit that let me know, thanks!

Here's what I did to hide the CA & PA values in the player profile:

Edit the following file in Windows Notepad (or some similar program):

So I would recommend only one BPD personally, but you can try 2 and see how it works. In regards to the DLP, you can try and move the DLP into DM and use a BWM in midfield. For me personally it works best with the BWM in DM, but you can switch the roles about to suit you.

A substitute for a F9 is a target man with support or even a DLF. I think F9 works best with the two inside forwards personally, so next window I would recommend trying to find someone who is capable of playing this role if you don't have anyone suitable.

My advice in regards to formation is to not lose faith and pay more attention to the actual performances and play, rather then results and statistics. For example if you are losing and drawing, but your players are finding their passes well and making chances then likely the formation is fine and the players just need a bit of time to adjust to the steep jump in level at the prem. Like when I was struggling in my first prem season with barnet I tried another formation and it was awful, we literally created nothing and conceded early every game despite the tactic being defensive. You could see the immediate improvement whenever I switched back to my Over Perform formation. I stuck with it and eventually we got some results. Second season and things going really well now with it.

It's hard to say, I mean really you want to have players who can play inside forward and also wing back. So LB and RB with reasonable crossing and dribbling etc. If you are trying not to get relegated and you don't have a transfer window or pre season to train the formation then I can't say 100% if it will work.

In my first premiership season with my Barnet save described throughout this post we started off very similar to what you are describing. Think we went 10 or 11 without a win most of the games being defeats.

I did try a couple of different formations, but it was obvious from watching the games (I always watch comprehensive highlights), that my formation, despite losing, was getting the best performances out of the side.

Second half of the season we actually won a few games and managed to move out of relegation. We finished 14th and our last game of the season was a famous victory over Man City which I think we won 2-0.

Is it your first season in the prem?

I would say if you think you have some players who can fit in then its worth having a go as I do think the tactic gives over performance, but I would always recommend a pre season to train and practice it and get your squad familiar with it. If you don't have that make sure you adjust your training to include a lot more match tactic, and general tactical training until your team have a good understanding of tactic,

Made the prem. Took five seasons in total from Conference National.

I have written into the main description but after a long break I started playing this save again and have successfully gained back to back promotions to the championship with this formation:



Nearly half way into the first championship season and experiencing extreme over performance, with no money, a 5000 seat stadium and not even a reserve player for every position in the first team. We are currently 9th which is one of my better first championship seasons after back to back promotions from conference.



Have updated the main file to now have the main formation I use with False 9. Please read comments for tips tweaking formation to suit very low leagues where competent false 9s and roaming playmakers may not be available.

Just a quick update for anyone thinking of trying the tactic. Finished my second season and came second in L2 gaining promotion. Tactic worked great for most of the first half, then come December performances dropped, but we still ground out results. Then in January we couldn't win or score for love nor money and lost five games on the bounce going from 1st in the league to fifth.

The game was prompting me to change my formation to get a win, however I do believe it was mental issue with the squad and also some lazy man management on my part.

Anyway I made some slight alterations and finished strongly missing out on top spot by 1 point. I am not sure whether to update tactic here or not as I started using a F9 as I have a strong player for the role. I will add images of formation and roles in this post along with some pictures for the end of year.

Yes I uploaded the correct formation. When I switched to it in game it made a big difference, we immediately began performing and winning virtually every game. We won the league, starting league 2 now.

I have been playing a season nearly now and to be honest I think I used the wrong formation... lol. So basically I have 3 formations I rotate between and tweak as I move up the leagues. The one I shared the one I use against tougher opposition... slightly tweaked.

Its not the correct one, though the season went ok for me and I am virtually guaranteed promotion the goals were lacking a bit and I hit a spell where I was drawing 2 out of 3 games and finding it a real struggle to win games. I am going to change the file to the correct formation. Apologies to anyone who has been using this so far, it probably won't work as well as the one I am about to upload.

I am using Windows and Chrome.

It stopped first time last night at 292 MB. Because I tried about 20 times in fm2016 with no joy I didn't bother again and tried to download using a file downloading program.

This time it actually worked until the very end. When I checked it in the morning it gave me a error message saying something like there was a change in the remote server.

The file I downloaded says it is 8.28 GB, however I am not sure if it actually is here are some screens of the file and its properties:

I am up for trying again, but seriously, I cannot understand for the life of me why anyone would try to host a 8GB+ file for http download through your browser.

A torrent is surely the best way of doing this? I mean I can see literally no reason against it, I know you are obviously trying to protect your annual subscription fee and make it have some kind of value which is fine, but if someone really wanted to share your torrent with non paying members they could just make it themselves using the file as easily as sharing a official torrent. No one has bothered to that yet which suggests no one is really that bothered about it.

Personally I was very upset as I only subscribed to access the files and I cant access them because of the delivery method.

Please think about a torrent for your larger packs as this really is frustrating. Thank you.

It wont download more then 400mb for me. Was exactly the same with 2016.

Ok I have tried on two different browsers to download the 4.5 gb Metallic logo megapack and it fails everytime at 600-700 mb.. Pretty annoyed I have rarely used the site before and paid the premium so I didn't have to download in 15 different sections and it is not working. Can you have a look at it please, maybe think about a torrent also.

Pretty unhappy I just paid ten pounds to be able to download this file (literally only reason) in one go and it fails at 600mb every time. You guys should make a torrent available if you are charging money for all in one downloads.
