The config file is for the entire megapack, and not just the most recent update pack.

Here's the process on how to install update packs correctly. It might be for FM24 but it's the exact same.

How are you so sure it's the facepack which is crashing the game/laptop?

@yaal, you need to pay closer attention to the guidelines and to our feedback. Not only does this not have a collar, it also has a substantial amount of snow:

Snow is the colour from the background of the cut which was not totally removed. It is often white (hence ‘snow’) but it can be other colours. It can often be easily removed by putting the cut through remove.bg.

Here's a video on how you can easily remove any remaining snow thereafter within Photoshop:

@yaal, a couple of things to keep in mind please. I'll fix these myself, but I will reject any which don't take the below into consideration.

a) we want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:

At the same time, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.

Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:

b) when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.

You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually. 

Nothing wrong with the more recently-uploaded cut, but I've gone for the first one, given it's more recent 🙂

I'm completely at a loss. I'm assuming you haven't changed the user data folder at all, right? The one in your screenshots in the default folder.

Can I have the config file included in the faces folder attached to your next post?

Instead of deleting them, can you put all of them somewhere else outside of the SI folder temporarily? All of them apart from the faces folder.

See if that works.

How about if you repeat the above, and type config.xml instead of that UID?

We completely disagree with that premise, and it's specifically included in the guidelines.

It's your job as a cutter to find images, and our job as staff members to evaluate submissions. We already have enough to do without looking for better sources for people.

That photo is not from the megapack, however. This is the one in the pack. So it seems like the megapack is not being utilized at all.

Can you make a search in the graphics folder of 85139014 (the UID of Mbappe)?

Before you take a screenshot, can you sort the results in the manner outlined below?

This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.

When you run the search, can you change the below search options?

This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks, and where that image is coming from within your files…

Are you accessing his profile from the national team page? Or from the Man City page?

@BLAZE MAT GAMER, for future reference, when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.

You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually. 

The FM26 megapack will work with FM24.

All seems to be perfectly fine, I have to say.

Can you confirm that you have a file titled config.xml in the faces folder? How big is it?

What do you see when you go into a player's profile on FM?

All seems to be installed properly, but can I see what you have inside the graphics folder right now?

We have repeatedly told you not to upload poor cuts, don't ignore us. We completely understand that sources for obscure players might not be the best, but we have a specific guideline for such images. If the photo is not good enough, then don't upload an image. Or at least upload it in 180x180, and not 250x250 where its imperfections are magnified even more.

Snow again @Ruslanincha. Please take on board the feedback we give you, don't ignore it.

Try not setting it in this mode, and see if it works.

If it doesn't, you should apply the workaround in the first post.

b) Brightening darker images like this one always looks better in-game. The easiest way is to go to this tab in Photoshop:

and tweak the brightness slider.

There is also a Photoshop action file, available for download here, which contains a lot of common actions, including one for brightening, for ease of use 😉

Please provide screenshots of your faces folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder.

There is a folder named Awards.lnc in the lnc folder. Delete that, or just edit it with Notepad to remove awards whose name you'd like to see in English.

Is it a quick start or a full career you're doing? Also, can I have a screenshot of your editor data folder, showing clearly its full path.

This is too small to be worth cutting.
