Yes, because in quick start you cannot select any additional files (as far as I know). So the part of licenses is fixed but club names (like napoli, real betis) are not changed.

If the game doesn't show any additional files and graphics, it means it is loading the FM files from the wrong folder. Please check in settings if correct folder is selected.

Yes, sadly, if you start the career through the World Cup mode (rather than through advanced settings), you won't be able to load additional files. 

Just reapply the current one, and it should work.

I know that this is a workaround rather than a solution, but you can use my file that fixes all the players from the World Cup. The bad thing is, the file (and all the other additional files) is not working in World Cup quick start mode. The game probably load the ‘final fixes to players’ file and no other files (so the real name fixes may not work at all). I know that this is due to licensing, but still.

One more message, because I've found out recently and I want to point it out - when you select the World Cup quick start mode, the game will 'load' the database from the 'internal file' which means YOU CAN'T LOAD ANY ADDITIONAL FILES (including this file, no additional leagues, no injury files, etc).

The 2nd version of the file is now updated (the link is update + steam workshop link was added if someone prefers to subscribe through steam).

And the file works with the latest patch to the World Cup update

What is new in the 2nd version

ALL FIFA countries senior international players and call-ups were updated (2024/2025/2026 was checked)

ALL World Cup players were checked 2nd time for any issues, and they all work 100%.

Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Polish Ekstraklasa were checked, and I've added a 2nd nationality for certain players if needed.

My plan right now is to create a few updates until the FM27 premiere (I will be updating the leagues right now, probably updating 1 league per 1 day is capable).

So the file is basically complete, because all I do right now is check youth players in top-tier leagues.

@mons - is it possible to ‘re-do’ the installation video instruction so it includes the step with launching the game and selecting the editor data files? Because the video and the instruction does not specify to select the files from editor data (and one of the files is club name change and this is the main problem for most users.

If you applied real name fix and loaded the editor data files from the fix with name changes - all is okay.

Please check if all 4 files are selected.

Everything works if you install the real name fix correctly.

Once again - delete the current edt, dbc and lnc folder and paste the folders from realname fix.

And do this for every database version in the main folder.

What doesn't work exactly?

My suggestion is and always was - reapply realname fix after every patch. Because you never know what SI could have licensed.

And because the fix is tiny, you can do it in literally 2-3 minutes (with the download).

Weirdly, it's all fine on my side.

And all national teams faces are visible

I have the latest megapack + I have a realname fix installed, so I'm confused a bit why it works for me (I'm not downplaying user reports of course.)

I'm not doing anything extraordinary APART from DELETING DBC EDT and LNC folders in each of the game version's folder.

So my steps to reproduce would be:

1. Download 26 realname fix
2. Delete DBC EDT and LNC in each folder and paste EBC EDT and LNC folder from the 26 realname fix.
3. Ensure you have the full megapack installed with the config file (548.702 faces) and config file inside is a 43mb file.
4. Check if your game is pulling add-ons from correct location (this is mine for example)

5. You should be good.

Are the players like yamal, haaland working?

Can you upload the screenshots with these players not visible in the game? You can upload 2 that does work and 2 that doesn't.

Unfortunately, I've checked the opening post for FM26 version of real name fix and I see no direct links or ‘transfer’ to FM24 thread. I can take criticism just fine, so I'm open to apologize, if you find clear indication that something in FM26 thread is leading to FM24 thread. 

If you give us the proof, I'm more than happy to apologize (and the rest of the staff will be more than happy to change the things you've posted).

Please reproduce the steps and write here or read the 1st post.

If you're starting a new game - reinstall the fix.

If you're using existing save - apply the workaround.

People please, the update came out literally 2-3 days ago. Please stop begging for god's sake and be patient. The author update the files regularly so no need to post 5 messages a day when the new version is out.

W tym roku raczej nie. Być może w następnej edycji fma, ale nie gwarantuję (ciężko znaleźć motywację, aby robić coś więcej, gdy gra wygląda, jak wygląda).

I think you care, because you seem bothered by this. Please do not spam from now on, you can download the skin update you've been waiting for.

To be fair, the faces/logos/backgrounds problem in this version is because of SI's probably new implementation of the files and all the graphics. The numbers and ID's worked perfectly in all previous versions, but now community has to make workarounds and change the whole ‘nomenclature’ of the files (probably some automation is used but still). My bet is that creators will upload the version I've mentioned and this will be the ‘official’ version from now on (because it's working on previous version as well). 

And to be fair, fm26 causes so many problems with the graphics I sometimes think to myself - is it the user's problem or the game?

And if you just read I don't know, the last page of this topic, you would know that the author is already working on the file. I could understand if the skin update was in January, but the author replies regularly. I'm minding my business just fine, so thanks, but I'm also responsible for moderating the forum. 

I hope, that you will be reading every thread you're posting in, because these are the basics, and the author can use this time to work on the file, instead of replying to what he's posted just few hours ago.

I can see, that you've replying to the message from 1 month ago, which is cool, because it means that you are reading the thread. But unfortunately, you've missed the pretty important message by one of the logopack developers with a workaround for fm26 version to work.

The author LITERALLY, posted a message above yours, that he is indeed working on an update. Update that came out YESTERDAY.

I really hate messages like these, especially when skin creators (especially for this version), have to fix skins each time SI updates a game.

Just wait patiently instead of begging.
