Update 2025.08 is now available for download. 

It contains 5,300 new or improved images and takes the total amount of cut-outs in the megapack to 498,091 👏

But I don't think we can/should flip flop on the advice we're giving people or what user from those countries have a tendency to do.

Maybe Sweden is a little different i'm not sure, but I mostly think about Brazil in these situations and I think they're the same.

People playing in these leagues start with the later date by default and they're advised to do the same with our data update.

Your suggestion seems to imply a regular and confusing change to which date they should use.

November 2023 = You should use the later date

June 2024 = You should use the earlier date
November 2024 = You should use the later date
June 2025 = You should use the earlier date

November 2025 = You should use the later date

The right way to do things I think is

November 2023 = You should use the later date with a file that doesn't modify the years

June 2024 = You should use the later date with a file that doesn't modify the years
November 2024 = You should use the later date with a file that modifies the years by 1
June 2025 = You should use the later date with a file that modifies the years by 1

November 2025 = You should use the later date with a file that modifies the years by 2

The problem right now is that “a file that modifies the years by 1” doesn't exist.

So the solution should be to make available “a file that modifies the years by 1” thereby allowing {B}

I think that is alot more preferable  than the much more complicated task of trying to completely change the starts dates {A} and then doing so again in November. Plus having trying to instruct every user to change their habits of using the later start date.

I hope that makes sense but I realise it is a confusing topic.

What do you mean disable the later start year? The later start year is the one that should be used, not the earlier one, same with brazil.

It's just weird right now because there should be a +1 year version, I have just been too busy to organise it.

Normally it should look like this (FM being cancelled makes it more complicated).

Nov 2023 = 1 file
- no year changes

June 2024 = 2 files
- years changed +1 for Europe
- no date changes file for Brazil/Sweden etc

Nov 2024 = 2 files
- years changed +1 for Europe + Brazil
- no date changes for people using future start date + real fixtures

June 2025 = 3 files
- years changed +2 for Europe
- years changed +1 for Brazil/Sweden
- no date changes for people using future start date + real fixtures

The 3rd version just hasn't been released yet.

Sorry can you try and be a little more descriptive in your messages mods can't keep a track of all the different aspects of every country in their heads and it would save time if you described the situation rather than asking them to load up the game and figure it out for themselves, for instance you could make clear that Sweden (unusually) has two possible start dates one in February 2023 and February 2024.

Since the dates are modified by 2 years it seems better to start in 2023 no? Or are you reporting a compatibility issue with the promotions/relegations files requiring 2024 and the transfers requiring 2023? 

I await a more detailed explanation in order to help you properly.

You can now add basic player appearance when creating a player such as ethnicity, skin tone, hair, height, weight etc.

There is currently no preview available for the different colours that's coming soon.

Only loans that had their date ending in the past should have been removed, I would guess the date in the players contract would have been wrong?

@BohemianBhoy  Hey sorry about that we got attacked by spammers recently with 10s of thousands of them, so the spam protection became a bit stricter.

We also can't say “its because you used the word XXX because that would give the spammers an easy work around”.

But it could definitely be implemented better and clearer.

So the long and short of it is that these clubs have a ban but we have no idea if it'll be a week, a month, 6 months or a year, so it's hard to implement?

Any idea how SI usually handle it?

If you see ones from me they're usually automated, submissions with transfer market as a proof are automated by a bot checking the transfer market url.

if there's an error it's usually because the wrong player or team is linked to the wrong transfer market url. You can help fix this using the “manage linked profiles” link.

@SwiftGenius I can't see a payment for you for premium, it looks like you signed up for the Data Update instead?

I believe (and have reached out to the owner of FMG to confirm) that the older files have been removed.

They are still available but only from our premium servers, this is often the case with older files, they can't be kept on the free mirrors for years and years unfortunately.

However all the latest files for FM24 work with FM23 so there shouldn't be any reason to download the older files.

When coding the site I didn't consider and account for every single possibility. I, nor anyone else on the site, deserves to be criticised for that, it's to be expected.

If you simply said “hey guys I think it would be good if people were alerted to any pending submissions when creating a new one to avoid duplicates”

That would be a totally reasonable and welcome suggestion and all that is needed.

I've made the change now so that it shows pending and enabled submissions on the submission form.

For now I haven't coded it so that it prevents a duplicate simply because I have other things higher on my todo list and i'm hopeful simply displaying the pending submissions will be enough.

The histories where done upto 24/25 season, histories for 25/26 will be added this month sometime.

The abilities and transfer budgets of every team and player vary slightly e.g one player will be 165 PA in one save, 175 in another and 155 in another.

I just looked at PCloud and again it would cost us $1 for each person that downloaded the cut out megapack. If you consider that many people download many megapacks and for some reason download more than once (failed download/reinstall/whatever), we would probably wind up paying $10 per user. We have millions of users, that's obviously unfeasible.
