I just checked and Savio has changes in his attributes. You can clearly see his Corners, Dribbling, Free Kicks, Marking, Passing, Tackling, Technique, Anticipation, Work Rate, Jumping Reach and Stamina have all increased.

@Phuc174 just because he has a contract until the end of the season doesn't mean he is 100% leaving at the end of his contract. Setting “leave at end of contract” means he will refuse to sign a new contract and will 100% leave.

If he is 100% leaving then an alternative source should be given for that.

E.g. Kevin De Bruyne should be set to “leave at end of contract” because he's announced he's leaving.

We haven't edited city and region names in the data update. Are you asking how to extract them?

Sorry they have to be approved first before the details are added. The UI is still a work in progress if you have specific feedback on anything you find confusing or ideas for how it could be better i'd be very grateful.

We don't set wages the game sets them automatically based on club and player rep etc. I'm afraid it's impossible to know exactly what's going on if you're mixing lots of files together you'll have to conduct that investigation yourself turning different ones on and off, if you share what files you're using and what you've tried it will help other people contribute and figure out the issue.

Yes there's currently no way to change a players nationality. Contracting to a nation should only be used for managers/coaches etc.

We could allow it if we open up submissions for existing players to be more than just CA/PA (this would also allow for adding new positions).

But we need to think about how to handle this from a moderation perspective as well.

@Joe5p  Can you describe the things you've attempted when describing things like this so it's easier to see any issues and don't duplicate the same efforts.

The first step is always to click “Download” to download the XML and then use the PGE > Import function.

From there I can quickly see that it's giving a “Record Not Found” error

A search for Chris Eskine shows no results:

Reloading the database using the original 24.0 database instead does show a result so it seems like he was in the original DB but not the updated one, which is why he isn't updating.

He would have to be readded as a new player using the “Add New Player” button on the Glenafton page.

I could maybe come up with some tool to automatically recreate people that SI deleted, there are a few wonderkids that have had it happened to as well. But also, it's not so many that creating then manually should be okay

@elpadre77580  you can submit these yourself properly using the form rather than this thread. For example visit the Djoliba page and click “Add New Youth Player”

@FMStrawzy  can you try and be more specific by describing what it is you've done it's much easier than me trying to guess what you attempted through the logs.

The changes file is the daily file that includes all the transfers and contracts that you can see listed here: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/submissions Think of it as “Daily Changes” rather than just “Changes”.

All the other files make more permanent changes such as relegations/promotions and are alot less frequently updated.

@Zoul if you visit the Philadelphia page and then click on Cavan Sullivan you get taken to a form where you can submit this data yourself.

For players like He Guan it's better to comment on the player himself. It may be something to do with the start date being set to 2014 for some unknown reason? But I doubt that would make a difference.

Screenshots are helpful too so there's no misunderstanding about the in game date or anything like that.

There is a file called “readme.txt” in the folder, which as the name suggests, you should read.

It says:

These files modify the player abilities and club finances for every player and club in the game.

 

Each player is rated differently in every file, although this isn't random, they are rated within a realistic range.

 

By using one of these files each save will be different with players having slightly different ability meaning different wonderkids and players over 30 deteriorating faster or slower.

 

Club finances will also be slightly different e.g. you may have £70m budget in one save, £55m in another and £85m in another, whilst managing the same club.

 

To install simply copy ONE file into the folder above this one (the "editor data" folder) and start a new save.

 

We recommend copying the file rather than moving it so that if you remove it you don't accidentally delete it. But of course you can manage your folders however you like.

 

HOW TO INSTALL

Step 1) Remove existing files

- Remove any files named “Dynamic Data”, "Non Dynamic Data", “Dynamic New Players” or “New Players” from the "editor data" folder.
- To remove them simply move them into the "Optional Dynamic Data" folder so they're not lost.

 

Step 2) Add a Dynamic Data File

- Copy one version of  the "Dynamic Data" and “Dynamic New Players” files from the “Optional Dynamic Data” folder into the "editor data" folder.
- For convenience make sure they're the same number e.g. “Dynamic Data 5” and “Dynamic New Players 5” although this doesn't actually matter if they're the same.
- Copying is better so you don't lose the original.
- Which file you choose doesn't matter. It might be best if you remember which ones you have used so your next game can be more unique.

HOW TO UN-INSTALL

Step 1) Remove existing files

- Remove any files with "Dynamic" in the name from the "editor data" folder.

 

Step 2) Reinstall the "Non Dynamic Data"

- Copy the files named "Non Dynamic Data" “New Players” from "Optional Dynamic Data" into the "editor data" folder

@MikeJWilliams2008  If you visit the Man Utd page you can submit your own suggestions for his attributes you don't have to make a new topic for every single player, that wouldn't make much sense.

Right now his rating has already been increased +39 to 125.

@p o l a r b e a r manager changes and any other transfers are not managed by that file, you can submit them yourself, check the how to contribute page.

Name fixes are managed by the real name fix file.

This file was only focused on the rule changes such as having 20 teams in J1 instead of 18.

You can try merging the FMRTE update and the Date Date Changes Update but it's not recommended, you won't get the right teams in the right leagues.

Its based off Master Igor's file but updates to start with the expanded leagues straight away in 2023 along with the correct teams in each division.

In most cases i'd assume that the file name is an adequate description e.g. the “Remove Media Predictions” file removes all the media predictions. If you're not sure what media predictions are and want it described on the data update page then what you're asking for is a 100+ page document describing every facet of the game which is not feasible.

If you want non dynamic files then just don't use any of the files in the “Optional” folder. Anything in a sub folder will be ignored by the game.

No its not a set figure it's “random”, I can't tell you exactly what's in every file (I could by looking obviously, but not off the top of my head).

A player with 160 CA may have anywhere from 150-170 in each file but the probability of it being 159 or 161 is higher than of it being 150 or 170.
