In the XML file you define the record value for each board you are using. The only thing you need to watch out for is that you are not using a record value that is already allocated to another board in the file.

For example:

Where 661002 is an ID I have chosen to use for an aboard for Celtic because I know 661002 is not being used for any other boards called from the XML file. 

You have one record for each board for that club, so the list should show all static and dynamic boards. The second example is a dynamic board.

Then later in the file, you list the actual boards to show in game. The List ID has to match the club UID you are allocating boards to. So in this example, 1569 is the UID of Celtic.

You can use boards that show numbers like my first screenshot to figure out where they would actually appear in game, and then you list them on the list above in order.  For dynamic boards, whichever is listed first will show first in game etc.

It's okay, I figured it out, if you go beyond whatever the limit is on the stadium model it starts overlapping some boards.

I appreciate that any discussion of downloading or sharing adboards is not allowed. 

This is a query for support with personal skinning and not in relation to sharing etc. 

Does anyone have enough knowledge of XML to help me understand why when testing adboard locations, I get some that overlap?

In the screenshot below, in the far left corner, you can see that boards 2 and 3 are overlapping, as are others. This means if I put actual boards in, they appear half and half on those board areas. I have no idea why or how. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, would it be possible to create 3D kits for these two kits please?

The shorts and socks for both are simply all plain blue, same colour as the blue shown. Many thanks. 

Since the last official update, I am getting this too. If FM24 has a kit already, it shows that kit instead of FC12 ones. Not sure why though. Oddly, it isn't all clubs. As an example, in the Scottish Premiership, with the downloaded FC12 pack, it shows the in game kits for Celtic, Hibs and Rangers, but the FC12 kits from the downloaded pack for everyone else. Config is fine for the league in the FC12 pack, all kits named correctly, cache cleared etc.

Should have added, this thread is for FM22, there was a file for FM23, so I would use that file as a base if desperate before Nik releases an update rather than the FM22 version. 

It appears to work as described above. Few screenshots. Haven't been in a media conference, but if all sources there then they will work too.

No, it is not.I know in the past, @mons and Nik have spoken about collaborating, but that is outwith my scope.  Unless something has changed this year, I think mons' file is different to niks and potentially less detailed but still a good file. 

Install the editor via Steam etc. 

Open the Editor

Select ‘Load Editor Data’

Find last year's .fmf file

Press ‘OK’ when it tells you it is a file from a different version of the database

Select ‘Save Editor Data As..’ and rename the file

Because the media file is not adding competitions/rules etc. and only adding media sources and people, it doesn't need ‘verified’ as such, it is just a dump of new data. 

It worked for me, as when you asked for step by step guidance I just worked through it. 

Better to wait for Niks updated pack for full accuracy. I had made some changes of my own to some UK media e.g. TNT Sports instead of BT etc. over summer using this as the base, but Nik will likely have updated his file too.  If nik is doing this again, he is the maestro in terms of media. If he isn't, and he gives me permission, I don't mind taking this on as I helped update a good bit of the English and Scottish media for FM22 within the file. The UK media needs some tweaking with various changes to personnel, but is fairly accurate in this file and more extensive than most other media files even if some others get big hits on the workshop etc. 

I am just loading a test now, if it works I will add screenshots. 

I have not made contact with nik recently. If he is continuing with the file then he will post it via the workshop. 

To get the file from FM23 to work, you would need to load it in the editor and then verify the file before trying. I am probably going to do that over the weekend. 

@bakizp , this club was Rossvale with the UID shown here, but in FM24, instead of changing the name of Rossvale in the database (maybe because there are two Rossvale's), SI has created a brand new club for Caledonian Locomotives (formally Rossvale). The correct UID to make the active badge show for the correct team is Team UID - 2000268146.

Probably a long shot, but wondering if any FC12 creators can help me with two sets of kits?

The first is a club called Knightswood, fairly plain blue kit, their away I can't find any pictures of but is plain white with a blue sponsor logo. The sponsor logo is attached but shows as plain white on the blue home top, plain blue on the white away top. 

The second is a club called Linton Hotspur, home kit like QPR, away is fairly plain Maroon. Apologies for the quality on the second kit. Have attached various files in the hope someone can help, no expectation of anything beyond a basic as the images aren't great in some places.

Both sponsors and badges also attached.

Apologies if this has been covered over the years.  I notice that if viewing a loan player from their parent club squad, you see the parent clubs kit in the profile, which makes sense. If viewing the same player from their loan clubs squad, you get their loan club kit (front) but the back still shows their parent club. Just thought to raise in case it is something that shouldn't happen, but understand there is probably good reason for it in terms of how the game sees the player in terms of which club to show.

@Qvordrup  I have three sets of metallic logos that you guys made up for me via the Alternative logos thread. 

All three clubs are now in FM24's official database (the requests I put in were in advance of them joining leagues in August 2023). I have made sure that each file inside the various folders is named with the club UID as it is in the FM24 default database. 

Given you guys made these up and the files have the correct UID, it should be a straightforward one to include in the pack, but when I try to use the contribute area it wants me to upload each file individually and won't accept the three .rar files.  I have attached all three here as not sure how else to get them to you.

Sorry if posting in the wrong place. The live 23/24 Scottish Premiership pack on fmslovakia is missing the St. Mirren third kit, which can be seen via the link below. The game has the correct colours hardwired and is expecting a third kit.

The game also seems to want to have a third kit for Aberdeen, which looks identical to their away kit from last season. As far as I can see, there is no new kit.

nik33 manages the pack, and he always seems to release an update, so I think he will, but it won't go live until the editor is live, which is often on release date (6th November) rather than at pre-release. This is because you need the editor to verify the files in advance of use of FM24.

Hi, hoping someone can help with these logos? Apologies that they are not the best/complete.  The first one just completes with a half circle shape and nothing but yellow and the purple trim that you see. The second ends with a point where the two lines join. Thanks

Not sure if this is the correct place to request this, but I accidentally deleted only one team's logo from the full pack. The team ID is 2000088005. I have managed to use Browse to find and download the main logo, but was hoping the various other sizes needed could be attached if possible?

These are brilliant Priority, thanks for doing this every season. Will the likes of Kilmarnock and Hearts third kits that just came out be included? I don't know if anyone else is planning another kit so it might just be those two. Thanks again.

priority is working his way through the Scottish Premiership, so it will be on the way in the next few weeks
