Well that is a possibility of course, but it's never been a problem until recently. I use Firefox, and it also has a resumer, but the resumer doesn't work. Frustrating when you get 10gb downloaded then it times out.

Hey guys. I've bought a new laptop and had to reinstall FM19 and the packs. Had no issue with the logos but cannot get the larger 11GB facepack to download. It keeps failing part way through. Any ideas why?

This doesn't include English lower leagues unfortunately. Any way to add them?

You must be installing them wrong as it works here. Where are you putting the folder?

I've just posted this on another thread. Emil's pack does work with the regens in the most part, it's just the beards that are mis-aligned. It's superior to any default regen hair regardless.

The regen hair does in the most part work properly, and it looks so much better than the default. But the beards are misaligned, so any player with beards or tashes or whatever doesn't look good. I'm not entirely sure if that requires a big fix or not, Maybe emildebski85 will find it in his heart to have a look at this problem.

We really need to do something about this. The facegen quality this year is awful. I much preferred last year's personally. The hair mod makes a huge difference and improves the overall look of the face. If SI aren't changing the faces then we need to do something about the hair

It is very sad because the hair packs added significantly to the game. I hope someone with enough time and talent can pick up where he left off.

Turn off FXAA. In actual fact, you are best off using a separate profile for FM, then you can cherry pick settings.

if you verify your game cache it will replace the missing folder for you.

You'll find that the graphics have been improved somewhat between versions hence what you're seeing. I'm afraid unless you consider upgrading part or all of your machine you will need to play it with the lesser settings.

Doing well, but maybe not that surprising compared to the transfer budgets and wages in the rest of the SPFL.

It was very difficult for a few seasons. I got promoted within 3 seasons I think it was, but staying up is the hardest thing. Now I'm in the Premier League and competing for the win. But I only really concentrate on home grown and 17 year olds as the other clubs price me out of the market. I've got a few world class players in my first team now as a result of cheap 17 year imports.

Yes all sorted. The rebuild fixed the issues i was having. Nice and stable once again.. Phew.. I've also got myself a little Lenovo for travelling. A 12" job which is actually a fantastic little machine. Runs FM16 like a charm too.

Yes I'm convinced it isn't related either. In fact, I rebuilt my laptop on Friday and reinstalled the operating system. So time will tell.

I'm not entirely sure (or even convinced) what may be going on here but there is a possibility that your hair mod is causing my game to hang. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar issues? There isn't any pattern to it other than if I apply the hair mod, it may hang as i load the save game. If I then reload the game, and change the display preferences to windowed mode, or something other than the full screen mode I prefer to use, it tends to let me in. I may also need to delete the cache. It's an extremely weird issue that i have and it has been reported to SI for further investigation just in case it's something else. All I can tell you is that when I verified the files after a hang it rebuilt some of them which were corrupted. The hair mod then stopped working, but the game didn't crash. When I reapplied your hair mod files, the game once again started to hang.. Curious..

I had 2328 hours in FM15.

Certainly a must have mod. To tyler16 I don't think this will work with other FM's due to the way the regen faces have changed in this release. But I could be wrong.

If it's the same as it was for FM15 and there's no reason to think it will be any different, then it will work once installed without any need to restart. It will simply 'generate' fancy hair for your current selection of regens and it will get rid of those daft mohawks. It makes a huge difference in my opinion.

I believe it was an issue in the beta but has since been rectified in 16.1.1. The faces certainly look a lot better than they did, shape form etc etc.

I don't think it works properly no. I was just going to ask if anyone is going to take up the challenge of getting this to work? Would really make a big difference. The faces have definitely grown on me, but the hair is pretty poor currently.

Well maybe the game needs a little more optimization but I also know that Alienware laptops can be quite vocal especially under pressure. Is there a quiet mode or something in the bios?

FM has always been a processor hog and it's very evident when using laptops for obvious reasons. There's a few things you can try to soften the blow. You can relax the graphical settings a tad, to help in the ME. You can remove some of the leagues. I only play with England and Scotland but I still have 105,000 players in my database. You should be running the laptop on full power and off the mains for the best experience. I've got an ASUS ROG here with a GTX980M and even this struggles off the battery. On the plus side it's a remarkably quiet laptop, virtually silent in fact, and although the fan does increase exponentially with FM it's not the end of the world for me.

God yes the regen faces are terrible at the moment..
