The changes you've described related to the club's finances and transfer ban are, unfortunately, not things that can be ‘submitted’ via the community database. There is, however, a capability for them to become part of the overall Data Update.

Specifically, there are two forum threads that are probably the right place to report/request those changes:

FM24 Club Updates - any changes related to the Board and things like the transfer ban.

Club Finances - any significant changes related to the financial position of the club.

Naturally, those that give up their time to try and make these sort of changes are doing so voluntarily so it will not follow the same timeline as something submitted via the Contribute process - but those two forum threads are the best place to inform of such requested changes.

Releasing as his new club is not in the DB.

Is this one a loan? I note on the laget.se website it lists the player's Mother Club. Just curious - could not find corresponding proof elsewhere, but I saw other entries on the site don't show the Mother Club.

That, to me, feels as though you probably have either:

• other custom files that are introducing some of the same youth players/wonderkids
• duplicates of the equivalent files from this site's Data Update (perhaps two instances of the update that you've downloaded at different times)

The Data Update itself doesn't contain duplications of the youth players. I just loaded the relevant files in the Editor to verify and can, for example, see only one instance of Yasir Boz. I think it is most likely you probably have enabled other files that also add some of the same players. Is that a possibility? If you're unsure, can you share a screenshot of all of the enabled Editor Data files you're using in the save where you saw the duplicates, please?

I see that he is in the DB and, since November 2024, has been returned to a role of Player. Can you explain a little further what you believe is wrong?

I was not able to find him. As of very recently, there is a new function that allows members of the community to submit new players. They won't be added to the DB immediately - there is still a moderation phase that needs to be finalised, but submitting him will ensure he is added to the list to be reviewed. If you go to https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/contribute and then click ‘Add New Youth Player’ it'll step you through the form.

Verified with additional source (Transfermarkt), so approving.

There is a new version of the overall Data Update generated on a daily basis (in almost all cases - barring any technical challenges).

The version generated each day will include all enabled submissions up to the point it is generated. So, in simple terms, there is a maximum 24-hour lag time between a data submission being enabled and it being part of the data update.

Just to confirm - in order to ‘release’ a player you simply empty the ‘Current Club’ field (rather than selecting the ‘No Club’ option).

You should only select a maximum of one of each type of ‘Dynamic’ file. They are intended to give you a range of options - with only one being used per save.

In the Classic FM download, you'll note there is a sub-folder named ‘Optional Dynamic Data’. In that folder, there are three sets of 10 dynamic files:

• ‘Dynamic Data’ (numbered 1-10)
• ‘Dynamic New Players’ (numbered 1-10)
• ‘Dynamic Pre-Window Budgets’ (numbered 1-10)

In the main folder, you will find a file named ‘Classic FM - Non Dynamic Data.fmf’. You should use either this or any one of the ‘Dynamic Data’ files.

In the main folder, you will find a file named ‘Classic FM - New Players.fmf’. You should use either this or any one of the ‘Dynamic New Players’ files.

If you want to use ‘Dynamic Pre-Window Budgets', you should copy any one of those into your Editor Data folder and use it. If you don't use any of them, you'll use the default club budgets.

Are there any other sources, available? That LinkedIn profile doesn't really indicate the (previous) affiliation to the club. Tricky to confirm this is the same person, as such.

You will have noticed/be aware that the ability to suggest attribute changes for players in the DB, along with submitting new players for inclusion, are very new features. Right at this moment in time, I'd request to bear with us as there is still some work to do in order to set up the moderation process for these submitted changes.

Once that process flow is in place, I'll be able to provide some feedback on your specific submissions. Unfortunately, right at the moment, even for us moderators we don't have a very easy way to assess what has been submitted and so it is difficult to provide you that feedback right now. You haven't done anything wrong, though, fundamentally.

Now, in terms of the overall plan - yes, there is an intention to reflect structural league changes and make those part of the overall Data Update, wherever possible. I must admit, I do not know the exact progress of the efforts, myself, but there may be an indication in that thread for Belgium, already. If there is no mention of it, I would recommend you share the information you have, above, in that thread for now.

Yes, this is possible. The download itself consists of numerous files - separated out into different functions.

The promotions/relegations are included in individual files containing the name of the country/region with and, in most cases, a suffix of ‘(league)’. For example, “Classic FM - Austria (League).fmf” (or ‘sortitoutsi.net Data Update - Austria (League).fmf’). If you disable these files, your game should not reflect promotions/relegations.

If easier to think about it in terms of what to leave enabled, you'll want to leave the file ending ‘+1 Age and Contract Years.fmf’, ‘Changes.fmf’ in, as well as ‘New Players.fmf’, ‘Remove Bans.fmf’, ‘Remove Injuries.fmf’, ‘Remove Media Predictions.fmf’, ‘Transfer Clauses.fmf’ and ‘Transfer Values.fmf’.
