I have actually never done Metallic logos or even used Eye Candy before, but I could try to edit the action. I downloaded the trial version of Eye Candy 7, which is probably needed since I have a relatively recent iteration of Photoshop. Within Eye Candy, there is a filter that results in an effect that looks quite a bit like the Metallic logos, but there are a number of sliders for different adjustments. If it is possible, maybe you could take a screenshot of their positions when creating the Metallic effect with the Eye Candy version you have, so it can be reproduced more easily?
If nothing else will work, it is also possible to legally download Photoshop CS2 directly from Adobe. At least if you are a little bit naughty and claim (by ticking a box) to have originally purchased the product...

Hopefully the Metallic logos can continue, but I'm happy working on my own little project. Has anyone been able to contact kremmen? I read that he had an unfortunate and sad event in his life, but said that he would return to make Metallic logos. That was already some time ago though, so is it for certain he is not coming back? As far as I know kremmen was co-operating with @schweigi at least what it comes to sourcing logos. Maybe he knows something or can help with the pack?

The logo appears to be on the 2018/19 football team shirts, so if it has been the volley club logo it may have been adopted for wider use.

I looked at the updates and the following logos have filenames that are not main team IDs within the final FM18 DB. Some of them are without a doubt still relevant for the pack, since their names are legitimate sub team (II, u19, u18 etc.) IDs, but some are not. Despite the inclusion of a number of correct IDs, these lists should make it easier to spot the incorrect ones. Some of the incorrect IDs appear to be probable typos (including extra empty space within the filename), the rest I don't know - maybe IDs that existed in the past but have since been removed from the DB? Where did you get the IDs?

Maybe I'm missing something, but what squads are some of these logos for? For example 98060977 looks like Linares logo, but the ID does not match any of the club's squads and FM18 pre-game editor DB search finds 0 records.

I suspect that it is a bug in the game. It affects some Spanish clubs like Sevilla / Sevilla Atletico and Gimnastic / Pobla de Mafumet, but for example Villanovense / La Cruz Villanovense logos work correctly. You should actually still see the small Pobla de Mafumet logo in search results if you search for the club's name.

Its sometimes difficult to know what the correct logo is. For example here is FS Tamynaikos Aliveriou's Facebook page, and they have (at least) two logo designs on display. Quite frankly I'm not sure.
This is what would seem to be Greek 3rd division (17/18) side Asteras Vlachioti's Facebook page (though I don't see it advertised as the official one): https://www.facebook.com/AsterasVlahiotiFC
If one looks at the profile pictures, the year 1958 appers on logos in the oldest pics beginning in 2012. 1950 appears in 2016, and then its 1958 again beginning in 2017. I'm not sure what is going on with the years, but the latest used is 1958. I guess its correct?

Have you looked at the small flag files of those nations? Usually if something doesn't line up properly, its because the "offending" files are different compared to the others. Possible fault is diverging image dimesions/size.

As can be seen from Vinceultras42's screenshots, some fan-made skins do not resize the images on all screens – a quality which might emerge in SI's skins as well.
With the above on mind I would suggest the following flexible system. You decide if it has any merits.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the default skin always resize the person image to what ever the size of the space reserved for it is? It means that the pics can be displayed in sizes much larger than the 180px if a high level of in-game zoom is in use. I typically use either 175% or 200% zoom. At 200% the player pics on the Attributes screen are displayed at size 280px, and I can confirm that the stretching indeed does make them a tad unfocused.

You are running a finetuned operation with the Cut Out pack, but it is my opinion that considering a larger image size would be beneficial. No need to resize the existing images, but perhaps new cuts could be made in a larger size? It appears that the images included in the game are 250x250px just as Vinceultras42 says, but I would go even bigger than that - maybe 300x300px. Naturally such a jump in size would make finding suitable source images for the cuts somewhat more challenging.

It should work if you duplicate the folder that contains the FA logos, and then edit the config in that folder so that the word "logo" near the end of the approriate lines reads "flag" instead.

I hope you will find them apt for the purpose this time as well.
Much of the work to make the new pack has gone to replacing obsolete logos, so what is going for 18v1 is that it should be reasonably well up to date.
