Is there a reason why there's this and a separate Championship download when there are Championship kits in here?

Using any web browser to download such big file is a nasty operation. You have to do it with some download manager software like JDownloader (or search in Google "download manager" ) which can resume downloads when your connection is problematic.
Here is tutorial how to work with JDownloader

Yeah, no idea how this works at all. You need a URL. The only one you can get is by right clicking the download complete pack button and copying the link address. But then the download manager spits this out:

I realise I'm posting in multiple threads now but this seems to be the best place to be and hopefully it'll save Rob and co. from jumping around from thread to thread saying the same thing!

Judging by the figures quoted by some others, it looks like I have a naff internet connection...

Gone full-circle back to Chrome. Managed to get 5.13GB downloaded with 108,238 files, but even more errors than in previous attempts:

Going to try using one of these free download managers as I've had no luck fiddling about with internet settings

I've been a prominent member of forums before that work similarly, so I completely understand the donation side of things. My initial doubts were short-lived to be fair and I thought hey, it saves me from downloading everything in multiple parts and overcomplicating the process. I'm completely onside with the awkward precedent you mention too.

Having said that, given that it's taken me two days of huffing and puffing trying to download with no success, I'd be lying if I said I was still completely happy with the donation.

I am quite happy to keep trying though and hopefully I'll find out what's actually going wrong. I could be downloading things for FM15 in a few months and thinking "good job I paid that tenner last year!"

Rest assured I won't be prematurely chucking my toys out the pram and demanding a refund or anything like that. I'm sure you can understand that not being able to download having paid is niggling a bit though.

I've encountered this a couple of times in the last two days, but I don't know if it's actually relevant http://s10.postimg.org/z2jgbiotl/error.jpg

Didn't realise Rob had posted. My download speed is 13.42 Mbps (according to that site) and current speed is 222 KB/s

Not that I really know what any of that means...

Downloading on Internet Explorer is giving me an e.t.a. of 8 hours 54 mins

Left it to download on Firefox last night: got 4.9GB of it, so considerably more, but still being cut short for some reason. There could be something wrong your end as Neilboy suggests, although I suspect that there's some internet setting that's stopping me downloading the full thing (a complete guess as it stands, but don't wanna point the finger just yet!).

And my 'in an hour' comment' was generous, closer to the 3 mentioned by Neilboy but I just assumed that was me having a slow internet connection tbh

Gonna try downloading using Internet Explorer, more out of sheer curiosity than anything else!

Video didn't make a difference and as you say, the problem seems to be with the download itself. Gonna try downloading with a different browser (watch it work instantly now...)

EDIT: I say 'instantly'... 'in an hour once it's downloaded' would be more accurate

Paid for the subscription so I could download the full thing in one so "Complete Pack 6.3"

The file size once it's downloaded is 2GB then its 3.14GB once it's extracted (so yeah, it seems it's not downloading completely like you say)

I'll take a look at the video and see if I'm doing anything wrong...

Cheers for the reply

And there was me thinking adding faces etc to my game would be relatively simple... sigh.

So having waited hours for it to download, when it comes to extracting the files, I only end up with about 50,000 images as opposed to the advertised 120.000+ or whatever it is.

I get a few error messages when extracting using WinRAR.
I get this after I've extracted: "CRC failed in 'sortitoutsi\faces\58003369.png'. File is broken." and "C:Users\Jez\Downloads\sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_6.03.rar: Unexpected end of archive"
With WinRAR I end up with 69,012 files

I read that 7-Zip works better(?) so I downloaded that and the same things happens when I extract using this but I only get 44,936 files.
With 7-Zip I get this error once I've extracted: "CRC failed in 'sortitoutsi\faces\58003369.png'. File is broken."

I've re-downloaded the pack multiple times (it's become a two day operation now!) and I get the same thing every time. Simply put, half the images just aren't there for me.

Way past frustration now and entering the realms of despair. Should I be using this 'Object Fix Zip' thing I've read about? If so, some guidance could be needed!

(I'm having the same/other problems with just about everything else: badges/kits the works. Absolute nightmare!)

Any help would be appreciated!

Yeah, just noticed the torrents... damn.

I started downloading after paying though so I guess that'd put me in the 'already used the service so no refund' category.

My own fault for jumping the gun I guess

Fair enough mate, as I said, it was a tongue in cheek comment anyway. I appreciate that you've replied!

Yeah the logo pack seems impressive on the face of things. The other ones I've been looking at elsewhere have "over 6.000 logos" which is obviously minute in comparison!

What's a tenner in the long run anyway? (says the guy who's paranoid about money )

But then you're bound to say that aren't you?

Joking aside, having browsed most of the sites now, this one does seem to be the most legit (for lack of a better phrase), but yeah, I got that sinking "wait have I just paid a tenner for no reason?" feeling and thought I'd see what the deal was. In fairness I should have probably posted this before I paid...

Apologies for the blunt title...

Anyway, I downloaded the FM14 demo the other night as I was bored out of my skull and ended up surprisingly addicted. I say surprisingly because up until literally said other night, I've been playing CM0102 and have often scoffed at FM (yeah, I'm a real hipster).

Long story short I thought f*** it and I purchased the game today and came straight here for the real badges/kits/faces etc,(basically the first site that came up on google when I searched). Realising I couldn't be arsed downloading everything in small parts (and acting on a bit of an impulse) I paid the £10 subscription thinking it'd be worth it in the long run considering how much I'm likely to play the game.

As I say, I'm pretty new to the FM scene, and now I'm seeing a lot of other sites (I won't mention names, I don't know if there's any bitter rivalry or not!) who offer kits/badges etc that look more or less exactly the same quality as here and which (it seems) I can download entirely for free(?)

Basically my question is, what am I actually getting for my £10 which I can't get from other sites for nothing? Are the packs here 'better' in some way? Is there more stuff in these packs?

Not trying to belittle the work put in here in any way, it's a genuine (perhaps slightly 'newbie' ) query...

Cheers
