I installed a non-official Japan J-League & kits. However, only less than half of the kits are reflected in the game. I `ve checked the XML file, IDs are matched, the script of both kit which is reflected and not reflected are exactly written in the same way.

I wonder what is the problem causing this? Could you advise me on that?

I added the megaface pack, added Japan local J-League and `FM 2014 Real Names Fix` which added Japan National team. Could anyone kindly tell me how to insert a photo when `No image available` is shown in the J-league??? Portrait is automatically being added when there is no such image...

I `ve put the player `s photo under `graphic/ picture`, I also tried to add `<record from="10055" to="graphics/pictures/person/10055/portrait"/>`
in the `config.xml` file, but there remains no change.
I just DONT KNOW WHY.......................................

The Japan national team is "broken" because of licensing issues. There's no way of fixing it, other than downloading a custom database.

I watched a video which shows once there is an editor called IGE, one can change the player`s name & attribute in the game easily. But where can I get this?? Not for free?

Remember that there are no Japan-based players in the official database, due to licensing restrictions. Therefore any J-League players you can get will be through a custom editor data file.

Assigning images to persons works on the understanding that each individual person has a defined Unique ID number, as is the case with players in the official database.

However, newly-created players in an editor data file do not have a fixed UID, so if you combine any J-League editor data file with any other editor data file, the chances are that the Japanese players' UIDs will change. This obviously causes problems when trying to map player images to a particular player.

All this is to explain that getting Japanese player faces to appear to the correct persons is not straight-forward and it might not work, unless you decide to have only the Japanese editor data file running and no others.

Thank you for letting me know that! So, if I want to have both the megapack` s faces & Japanese one work, the only way is to change the UID manually....I ve just tried, it works! But how time-consuming it is by changing 2000> files...!!

The best way may be just picking out some favorite players & drop out most of the others !

I found that some non-official national teams, like Japan, its squad `s not correct or got 2 players with the same name...Is it possible to select and change some National Team `s players by my own-self?? What tool should I use?

It seems that `Transfer` can not be used to achieve this...

Please give advice.

It seems that I have to allocate my player right before every single match in the game preparation set.
Is there any simple method so that I can save my favorite starting line-up for the next match. Or is there any way that let PC to allocate the BEST 11 for me automatically?

I found a Facepack for J-League in a web -site calls `FM Faces.Net` Your text to link here... , but the faces are ALMOST ALL going to the wrong players.

Is there other facepack for J-League available? (J1 is good enough...)

I m a new comer and find that there are many kits pack available for different leagues around the globe in the `FM2014 Kitpacks`. All of them should be downloaded one by one? Is there any Mega Kits Pack which contains all (or most) of the leagues kits, so thatI can only download once??

It doesn't really matter what the folders are called.

Inside you just need the picture files and the config file.

Would it be possible for you to get a screenshot of your folders for me to look at?

You need not to change the name `sortitoutsi` into `faces`? Thank you, I am trying!
But how about the folder inside, other than the main files .png, are there any other supporting files which is neccessary?

Looks like you've done everything correct, what folder have you placed them into. It should be C:\Users\Yourname\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\graphics

Exactly! I suppose the problem is sth the face files failed to load (Changing Skin) properly after clicking `Reload Skin`. And I was not able to click `Confirm` as install instruction said, it just jumped to `nation choosing` if I start a new game or jumped menu if I only selected `Preferences`.

In fact, not only the faces, but all those kits being put in `kits folder` are not shown as well. Only Logo is shown properly...

When you downloaded the face pack did you open the file first (double click on it), then copy over the folders inside it to your FM directory?

YES! After double clicking, extracting the .rar files, I Copy & paste the huge `face folder` into my FM directory under folder `graphics`.
I suppose it should be alright.

I just downloaded the huge complete face pack and tried to apply it into the game. After going into Preferences" & `interface`, there is no `Display & Sound", "Always Reload Skin on Confirm" nor "Use Skin Cache" saying in the instruction. But `Appearance` in the left lower side, I clicked `Clear Cache`, then ticked `Reload Skin when Confirming changes in Preferences`, and clicked `Reload Skin`. After loading, it jumped to menu automatically so that I `m not allowed to click `Confirm`...and there is still no face shown on any team after starting a new game.

What `s the problem? Im using the latest ver14.3. Is it something to do with the `Skin Version in Appearance`??

Firstly welcome to the site, we have a great community here and members as well as staff are alway here to help.

Beginners playing the game may wish to take an easy route into the game, find a team you support or a top club (barcelona/real madrid expecially) and play a season or two with them and find out whats what in the game

There is no difficulty level which is much better, it really test yourself on tactics and the team you are.

Managing at the top can be hugely beneficial, you won't find much changes from managing a top team to a lower division side other than you can obviously find and buy much better quality players!

The boxes are the countries you load up, many people have a few loaded to see around different areas, I myself have England loaded in my current save but a host of other nations on view only so I can keep a watch over it.

You can manage a national team, once you select the database and load it click add manager and up the top you should be able to switch from club management to national!

Feel free to ask anymore questions, hope this has kind of helped at least!

I click Custom> Edit> Tick all the boxes> Confirm.
I tried to check if it works by looking at AC Milan, Coach changed to Inzaghi, perfect! But new players like Honda (Japan) & Essien (Ghana) are not in the senior squad, is it simply an edit miss??
