if this is important for you, then you can simply use another skin in which the functionality of displaying different stadiums for national teams is implemented.

I don't want to sound mean, but you are missing the point 🤷‍♂️. The reason Wembley stadium is showing is because England has only got one national stadium where it plays all of its matches. Germany (and other countries) plays in multiple stadiums and has no national stadium as such, and that is the reason that no picture is showing 👍 (so no picture where it says “various national stadia")

 

If it bothers you a lot, the only way to “fix” it is to use the pregame editor to set a national stadium for the country,

No, you did everything correct. The problem is that the default box is “player flut stadium” and I removed the kits for “player without background” in the drop down arrow (that one you use and showed in your screenshot). For all of the other options (including the other tabs) there is one xml for each one of the options, which means that in all of that xmls the code should be removed.

Also the error you've screenshotted is because you have the database 22.3.0 Update selected at the top, you need to select 22.4.0.

 

I only just realised what you said though, I thought you were saying Lacazette was still at Arsenal.

 

Having Lacazette appear as captain is a minor and insignificant bug of the game because the captain is set on the team object. It doesn't seem worth going coding a fix for this since it fixes itself naturally as you play the game.

Have you tried downloading just the XML for Lacazette and seeing if he is transferred then? You can use the “download” button next to the most recent change and try it by itself.

 

Other than that, are you sure you don't have any other updates in your editor data folder?

you need to select the the file/s at  the game start up screen your image is of the advanced set up screen

Open Fm editor in the drop down box at top left hand side there should be a folder called file at the top left of the editor screen. Select import and load the database you want then save simple as that.
