Found this on the SI site in case anyone encounters this...

The Calendar becomes stuck on the screen after I've Alt+Tabbed out of the game and returned

If this happens with your game, please press the following keys together to refresh the skin and solve the issue:

'Shift' + 'R'

If that doesn't help, save your game by using 'Ctrl' + 'S' (this will save over your current save) then quit the game. Relaunch the game, go into the preferences and run the game in 'Windowed' mode.

Sorry if this has been brought up already, but when i holiday for a week or so between games the calendar stays stuck on the screen, but i am able to click on things on the background but cant see a lot of it due to this. Anyone experienced this also ?
