17/18 SS Kits file isn't downloading. I cleared ad blockers, but problem remains. I can download logo and face packs fine.

Beautiful work, congratulations! Please help. I followed all instructions above, and still cant see any images:
- unzip and then move "sortitoutsi Google Earth 3D Aerial View Stadium Backgrounds Megapack" on graphics folder.
- unselect skin from dark to basic, and reload skin...

Any idea of what I must do now? Thanks.

PS: Never mind. I forgot to clear cache. Once I did, photos came through. Thanks.

PS2: I appreciate the effort, but the stadium images make my screen too busy to read comfortably. I had to revert back to the Dark screen. Thanks anyway.

As I noted above, the Brazilian club names became wrong *after* the 17.0.2 patch. I had fixed them before the patch!

Yes, names are right in new game, but I'm midway in a saved game and just wish to fix Brazilian club names as they were correct before patching.

Any workaround? Thanks.

Thanks for the instructions.

It works for new games (correct Brazilian club names), but not for previous games.

As I said, my current game *had* the correct Brazilian club names before patching it, but with 17.0.2 and also with the new 17.1, my save reverted to bogus 3-letter names.

Any fixes? Thanks.

Before suspecting I'm a liar, maybe you can read the instructions at the top of this page: "This file will need to be re-applied if/when patches/updates are released and when the full game comes outto ensure full compatibility."

This is exactly what I did: I reinstalled the name fix file after the 17.0.2 patch messed them to the original bogus names. But it didn't work.

I'm not here to waste our time (I'd rather be playing the game), and I don't mean to be rude, but I paid some 12 US dollars just to download your files which aren't working.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Sorry, I forgot to add my answer:

Brazilian club names are correct if I start a new game.

However, in the patched game I'm currently playing, club names are abbreviated (FLA). I can assure you that I wouldn't have started the game with the wrong names.

Did you start your saved game before or after the latest beta patch?

I believe it was before patch 17.0.2. In any case, when I started the game, I made sure the club names were fine (otherwise I wouldn't have started). But now the fubar names are there again. Any help is appreciated.

Hmm, go into your 1700 and 1701 dbc/permanent folders. There may be files named Licensing.dbc and brazilkits.dbc (not 100%sure about the name of this one, but it's definitely something similar). Delete them both

mons - Thanks for the suggestion, but I had already deleted those files. I went again and also deleted dbc fille "forbidden club names". I then reopened FM17, cleared cache, reloaded skin, to no avail. The three-letter Brazilian club names are still there (e.g., FLA instead of Flamengo).

I'm in the middle of a game now (coaching Reggina in Italy), and I prefer not to start a new game... It seems that new patches to the game are canceling name fixes.

Any other suggestions? Thanks again.

I had installed this and Brazilian club names were fixed before I started a new game. However, their names reverted back to 3 letter, apparently after 17.0.2 update (Beta). Does this make sense? Any way to fix this (without having to start a new game)? Thank you.
