Guys! Put also Claude Makelele to the FM17 databse, please

Search Makelele and see his thread. I've already had a convo. about getting him re-added and it's not possible by these SI guys. The only option is manually adding himself yourself.

BTW this thread is about Gerrard not Makelele!

Yeah I know that's what I was alluding to above and want to avoid. I have a personal database with plenty of youngsters I've added. I know how you can do it, I just try to avoid it for 'established' players because of the substantial honours and career stats which are easy to get wrong and time consuming to research plus I dont have fm16 anymore so a lot of aggravation all round. It's not worth the hassle in my opinion for an assistant manager (who'll likely get sacked at the end of season) Thanks anyway.

I added Makelélé in my database porting from FM2016

I'm sorry but I don't understand nor do I want to go to substantial effort just to add an assistant manager. I'm going to read between the lines and assume he can't be added the main data update for FM17 then though as you've not suggested it. So thanks in around about way.

What? English please. I only ask that in addition to the above mentioned issues, there is also an increase of attributes for players who are at a much higher level than the creators themselves have established. Players like Isak, Mertens, Caldara, Alejandro Gomez, Kessie, Bernardeschi, Lallana, Alexander-Arnold, Tonelli, Ejaria and more.

Seriously what's your problem? There's nothing wrong with my English thanks, it is yours which is lacking as is your understanding of how out of order you are.

This post is about MAKELELE, I don't know why you're talking about abilities and those players or why you think this is an appropriate place to do so. It's completely irrelevant and and inappropriate. Please stop interfering with irrelevant nonsense which is detracting from my point (which still hasn't been answered clearly)

I, like most transfers/loans have no proof of wages/wage contribution but common sense suggests to me it would be around 75% mark at best given Torquay's financial issues and not the 100% previously stated by FM itself.

I don't really understand where this convo. is going. Can he be re-added to the database for FM17? i.e. with his career achievements and previous mental stats etc. Obviously I could add him to my personal database but I'm looking for an easier, more objective way to re-include him. As I say FM constantly bring back players/staff who were absent from the game for one or two years so I'm confident he's somewhere in the database 'dormant'.I'm just unsure whether anyone on SI is capable of re-instating him like I described.

He doesn't seem to be in the DB for FM17 despite recently joining Swansea as assistant manager. I frequently see FM reinstating players/staff which are missing in a previous version does anybody here have the ability to do so in this case? Fair enough if it's not possible.

You need the vitrex city pic pack on fmscout (it has a special config for club overview) and potentially the metallic logo pack can effect the city pics too so be aware of that but try the suggested download first (this skin is heavily influenced by vitrex hence its need)

You may wish to add: Ethan Ampadu of Exeter City. He's one of the biggest talents in the country.

He's risen to prominence sharply having always been considered comfortably the biggest prospect to have graced the successful academy (an academy which has produced Dean Moxey, George Friend, Tom Nicholls and previous top recruit Matt Grimes of Swansea) He is the son of Exeter legend and Arsenal youth coach Kwame Ampadu. Ethan was part of the Wales' Euro training squad (countries commonly select the biggest prospects to make up the training numbers in order to gain big tournament experience) England have been trying to persuade him to switch but Ethan seems destined for Wales given the lengths they have gone to and his firm ingratiation within their set-up

Ethan can literally play anywhere through the middle. His debut and the majority of his appearances this season for Exeter have been at centre-back despite only being 15yrs old (d.o.b. 14/9/2000) although it's largely accepted he is primarily a deep-lying, ball playing midfielder who is is comfortable on the ball with his balance, passing and close ball control. Given the injuries this season at Exeter and Tisdale's firm belief of playing out from the back however he has slotted in comfortably at the heart of the defence. Ethan has over-taken the likes of Craig Woodman and Tom McCready in the Exeter pecking due to his man of the match performances this season (hence the still conservative 75 rating IMO) Even when these palyers have been fit Tisdale has chosen to play usual centre-backs Jordan Moore-Taylor and Pierce Sweeney in the full-back positions entrusting Ethan at centre-back. He does however lack the physicality as demonstrated by Colchester's second goal at that weekend but this is to be expected. Every game Ethan has played this season he has been one of Exeter's top performers.

He hasn't signed a professional deal with Exeter and as such every top club in the country are being strongly linked. Man Utd and Arsenal in particular with the latter favourites given his dad's youth role there. It's highly likely he'll leave when eligible for a professional contract. Admittedly I believe this will harm his development, so hopefully he can look beyond the short-term. 2/3 years of league two/one football by the age of 18 would be a huge platform for the future, i.e. Dele Alli.

soccerway stats this season: http://uk.soccerway.com/players/ethan-ampadu/440094/

As mentioned I've given him a current ability rating of 75 given his displacement of more seasoned professionals this season. For context I have the likes of Moore-taylor and Troy Brown in low 80s, Sweeney 87, Woodman 75, McCready 73, Harley 81, Oakley 77, Lloyd James 83. 75 seems conservative given this but I've tried to be realistic given lack of experience although I'm in no doubt Ethan will be involved with City squad all season now.

Injuries alone have not resulted in his opportunity, his huge talent has played just if not a bigger role. His international recognition and caps at various youth levels and now professional experience at only 15yrs old in my opinion deserves a potential ability in the realm of 165. His pedigree is just as good, if not better, than his counter-parts at the elite academies.

Positionally I've opted on my personal DB for 20- DM, 20- CM, 18- CB, 17- AM (I'm sure he could play either side also but this hasn't been shown)

I feel he's a pretty big omission from the DB so you might want to consider him for people who may not be aware of what a big talent is missing...

Another one released and then resigned. Seems appropriate and highly likely his wages would be reduced from the default on FM given general lack of appearances and influence at Barnet recently.

Yeah I looked into this one a while ago. I've read a number of articles on this. The original proof used here was poor and non-specific (a small foreign article which needed translation I believe) There's been a lot of debate about Cassano's position at the club and whilst it looks like he's been frozen out there doesn't seem to be any mutual agreement on termination yet. So his release here seems premature.

Don't accept them as proof, people can spend 20secs googling for an 'official' link or at least one which explains the story. It's easy enough if the actual transfer has happened. There's even websites detailing every non-league transfer in England!

I see a lot of the changes are becoming reliant on the websites I mentioned and that's a bit concerning.

Wrong, don't know why someone would submit this and why it would be approved.

Transfermarkt, eu.database and soccerway should never be used as 'proof'. Stats, yes but up to date squads, no. I've found hundreds of inaccuracies on these sites when doing my own database.

Croft signed a 6-month contract extension with an option until end of season!

http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/midfielder-lee-croft-signs-contract-extension-3228575.aspx

and here's his stats for this season (he was involved in the match-day squad two days ago!)

http://uk.soccerway.com/players/lee-croft/15682/

Hate these 'cos they completely mess up my own database please rectify/disable.

I'm lead to believe he's signed a pre-contract agreement so will join when his deal with Rubin ends, i.e. January window. Allegedly Kazan wanted £7mil for the last 4 months of his contract, unsurprisingly Sunderland weren't interested in that. Not sure what the whole instagram stuff about Sunderland not picking up his calls are about though as I've heard nothing to suggest the pre-contract agreement is no longer in place...

Where's there evidence of this transfer? The 'proof' takes me to Sheff Utd's home-page only. After a quick google I see Bury rejected Sheff Utd's offer yesterday. This one seems to have slipped the quality control!

Just a tip: make sure any personal saved databases that you wish to take preference are alphabetically later. The game seems to load hierarchically. I named mine 'zzzzz' so it's last and as such takes preference over sortitoutsi's and the 50 other edits I have saved. It's rectified a lot of issues for me where I've wanted my change to take preference over someone else's (it's not the answer to everything and I'm not guaranteeing it will sort this but it's definitely worth doing in general, especially when there's two conflicting changes)
