My non static boards are also showing as black. graphics is set to high but my simatchviewer_uncompressed is not a folder its an fmf file? I'm on a mac. does that have anything to do with it?

the dbc/edt/inc folders are all in Steam apps>common>Football Manager 21>data>databse>db
the editor data is definitely in Sports Interactive>Football Manager 21>editor data
Is this because Zebra is part of the editor data and I am in the middle of a game? i.e you can't add editor files to a new game? I thought that just deleting the fake files in the db folder worked.

don't know why its not working for me? Did everything stated in the walkthrough. Zebra is still Zebra, Real San Sebastian is still the same. This used to be so easy to fix. Do I need to delete the caches folder or something?
