Napoli 3-0 down at Bologna with Destro scoring twice. Roma should sign him up BR.

Haha, he was alright Destro. Decent scoring record especially in Garcia's first season, but just looking at his Wiki, he hasn't played over 20 league games in a season since he was at Siena.

Good result for Bologna today even if Higuain got 2 late on. Just a blip for Napoli I'm sure.

It's not so much that I believe in Garcia, I just don't think Inter, Napoli or Fiorentina look like potential champions. To me Roma have the most talented and balanced squad in the league, over 38 matches I think that'll separate them from the others.

Fiorentina I agree with. Remains to be seen with Inter and Napoli but I'd say they're both more likely to win it than Roma, unfortunately.

Do you not reckon Juve have the best squad in the league? I thought that was pretty much a fact!

How the fuck did they give Moreno's goal to Origi

He got a slight touch didn't he? Enough to deceive Stekelenburg.

Roma can kiss the Scudetto farewell if they sack Garcia in the middle of the season. I still firmly believe that they'll end up winning the league this year if he stays

Not sure what you base that on Franck? He just isn't a winner. Each season is getting worse. The 0-2 Atalanta game reminded me of Zeman's final game in charge. Where you just know it has to be the end.

No way will Roma finish above Juve or Napoli unless things change, they'll be the top two (not sure which order). Inter looking a good bet for third although long way to go yet.

Aye he's deadly at the moment.

Unbelievable save from Reina at the end to keep it at 2-1, looked a superb game......unfortunately I wasn't able to watch it.

Elsewhere, Garcia needs to go. Now, preferably.

Not a classic this. Good effort/save from Hazard/Lloris then though.

Strange goal that Liverpool conceded tonight, don't think I've seen that rule enforced before - a rule is a rule though, 21 seconds is a long time to hold it!

United are up against it a bit. Will be difficult away to Wolfsburg and then you'd fancy PSV at home to CSKA although it isn't a given.

Arsenal are probably 50/50 to get through (it'll either be a heroic failure in Greece, or in the last 16). Chelsea will make it, although it would be hilarious if they didn't, as it would for the other two!

If Roma could stop getting hammered in the CL, that would be great. Still gonna get through but the knockout rounds could be ugly.

Went to Preston yesterday, good start to the Lambert era, hopefully we can go on a good run now and keep moving up the league - we went from 11 points off the play offs before yesterday's games to only 8 points off.

Only Scotland won't be at the Euro's out of all the home nations, bet they're gutted.

Paul Lambert is very underrated - worked wonders in the lower leagues, took Norwich up two tiers in consecutive seasons.

Tasked with cutting down the wage bill of a rubbish Villa side. Obviously made mistakes but at least kept them up and relatively safe.

Yeah, I'd definitely be happy with Lambert. Like you say he did a cracking job at Norwich.

He's had time away to think and reflect, and what happened at Villa may make him a better manager in the long run. He'll have a point to prove.

Quite a bit too late (he should have gone last season when it became clear we were gonna be nowhere near promotion despite having Rhodes and Gestede upfront) but it had to be done. We've won 3 out of 17 this season in all competitions and Saturday's performance was as dull as they come.

I think it's time now for an actual manager. The last one we had was Big Sam.

It would indeed be ridiculous.

It's been a slump, no doubt about that (although they're still only 14th despite the slump), but it's only been a few games and he led them to their highest ever points tally last season.

We've got an excellent record against you since we got relegated, but yep, I wouldn't be surprised if you beat us either.

Didn't realise just how much of a mess Leeds were!

UEFA have charged Man City for their fans booing the Champions League anthem.

Bet the idiots fine them more than Dynamo Kiev get for the reports their fans assaulted black Chelsea fans during their game.

Were they Chelsea fans? I assumed they were just black Kiev fans. Absolutely shocking though, either way.

Olympiakos winning is a blow for Arsenal, it'll all come down to the last game of the group in Greece with Arsenal needing to win I think.

The Champions League is back!

Just looking at all the fixtures and wondering why games in Russia (possibly Ukraine too, can't remember) don't kick off at 5/6pm our time anymore? Must be well late over there if they kick off at 7.45 our time like the rest of them.
